Ukulele Chord Changer and Songbook Set (Made in Connecticut, USA)

Neat little device to help me pass the day. I have limited mobility throughout my body, including my fingers. This unit works great....it is smooth and the buttons are very easy to press. Not sure if it's me but, sometimes the strings vibrate. I wonder if it will help if the part that holds the strings down are made of rubber.The song book included is well made (7"x10 1/2") with a spiral bind, allowing you to fold the pages all the way back....making it more compact. Some songs are...Take Me Out To The Ball Game, You Are My Sunshine, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, America The Beautiful and 78 other songs plus 1 separate song sheet.Anyways, I love this thing...and shipping was super fast, came before edtimated delivery date!!

With a combination of Parkinson’s and mild arthritis, I have difficulty fingering some chords. We thought this Changer might overcome these hurtles. Great idea, but...1. Soprano ukuleles only, because of the Changer’s specific dimensions.. My tenor ukulele is totally unworkable.2. Noisy. The hard plastic construction makes noises upon use of some keys3. Learning this provides no assistance in using the frets normally.My instructor is pushing for me to return the Changer, along with the soprano ukulele to make it work.

Really interesting idea, but not ready for prime time. The "device" is in the way and the buttons don't depress strongly enough on the strings to emit a decent tone. Of course, you can't see the strings that you're playing so you aren't really learning how to play the chords. Stick to learning the old-fashion way: Practice, practice, practice.

My son has fine motor skill difficulties and this is really helpful for him to hit the notes on his ukulele.

Love the easy way to chord when my arthritis is especially bad. Hard to remember how to make the additional chords listed on the instruction page.

Finally can enjoy strumming tunes....my arthritis prevented me from fingering chords...now the push of one button to play chords correctly has enabled me to play again....love it
