Perfect Fit, Easy Installation, and Good $ Value.
So my parent's old Whirpool washer's door handle broke. It was still openable but hard. So I decided to get on Amazon and seek for replacement Whirpool washer door handle. Make sure you find out the model number for your Whirpool. Installation was very straight forward. Even me, not the handiest person in the family, was able to do replace it. Just need the correct screwdriver. Its great value and so far its durable like the original part.

Very Easy to Install with Proper Screwdriver
My 22-year-old son ordered the part and planned to install as a surprise as the original door handle was almost broken through after sixteen years of use. Another reviewer mentioned using a T-20 screwdriver to remove the old handle and install the new. Purchased the screwdriver at a hardware store for less than $10 and my son removed the old handle and installed the new one in less than five minutes. Note that the replacement door handle does not include the screws, but in our case the original screws were still in excellent shape, so replacement screws were not necessary.

Great way to extend the life of old machine
The plastic was a tad thinner than the original, but it fit well and was a modest concession for the lower price. I think it will break again, but I’ll replace with the same part anyway.

Not good material plastic
This handle attaches with two screws and breaks within a short time. I recommend reinforcing the area around the screws with a toothpick coated with two part epoxy.
