Holux M-215+ USB Mouse GPS Receiver

Awesome, accurate GPS. Use it every day, at work. Gets more sats than any other GPS. Still has problems with places like downtown San Francisco, though that's no fault of the unit, since it's still getting half a dozen sats, even then. It gets spoofed by signals bouncing off of metalized windows, which is more a criticism of the GPS concept, in general, than this unit. It rides outside on the roof of the car, every day. The mag mount holds tight, even at high speed, but it won't scratch your paint like a Trimble will. It has been rained on several times and has never had a problem. I also have two pre-Glonass variants of this unit. This one is much more reliable and gets a better, faster and more accurate lock.

This receiver works but is fairly bare bones. Setup as using USB serial on several systems. Cold signal acquisition was a bit slow (~2 minutes). This device does not support any PPS output for timekeeping.

Had a time finding the proper GPS program to make it work (few options) but once all set it is accurate, fast, and I'm happy with it.

Thanks. Great product and service. I use it for war driving and it works with Kali. Unfortunately, no manufacture GPS application for Linux.

It acquires GLONASS satellites. However, the accuracy while driving through downtown is low.

Amazing value. It just works, and works well - quick acquisition, and good under tree canopy with the stronger-signal GLONASS constellation.

A good GPS receiver especially if need to use outside, waterproof, quickly founding satellites.It's a beautiful GPS as per quality and price
