LiteXpress X-Tactical 104 360 Lumens incl. Pressure Switch- Gun Mount

Last August I bought one of these for my shotgun. I didn't use the the included mount as I had my own, but the light and switch worked REALLY well... and I really liked it, especially for the price... but realized I was expecting a LOT from a flash light and pressure switch in this price range, firing a session of full power slugs a few times a month, along with LOADS of mini slugs... so I decided to get another "just in case" in September. The switch I set aside, but the light I've been carrying, and using daily for everything from work to walking the dog at night, since I got it in September and I JUST swapped out the batteries on it tonight.The one I've been carrying is JUST as bright as the one on my flashlight which only gets used at the range about once every two weeks or so...Even though it's been carried constantly, been wet (rained on, never submerged) dropped a few times, (once down about 6 concrete stairs).. It keeps on working with no issues.The finish does wear a bit, no worse than any other light I've carried, including the old school Mags... and while it deferentially looks "used" after six months, it's stood up to everything I've put it through and I'm definitely happy.The selector wheel is still solid and positively clicks in place wherever you leave it even with frequent use and daily carry.The one on my shotgun I'm equally thrilled by... The switch has a "not hard, but positive" 'click' feel to it, and even after IDK HOW many rounds of 12ga slugs doesn't show any signs of quitting...It is a DANG good light for the money!!!!

Giving it 4 stars for price to quality reasons, that stated it fall a bit short compared to higher brands. I know it's a German based company but for the thirty some odd dollars I paid I wasn't expecting a German made product. It's built fairly well and is rain resistant, not sure if it will take a full dunk in a pond or river...yet. it's not as bright as it claims but it's battery life is very good. The control bezel could be a bit tighter. The mount seems light but I never intended on using it. I use it on a M590 12ga in a FAB quick release Miki mount and it hold up well going to and from the shotgun to hand use. The pressure switch adheres well with 3m double side automotive tape, I avoid velcro when possible too bulky and too iffy. I would recommend other higher end lights (but double or triple the cost). But for those who are budget concerned or don't plan on using the light heavily than this is a pretty good light. It's built fairly well and the control is nice, I like the bezel concept... no tapping a button to go between settings just set the dial... all in all if you don't like it return it or use the 5 year warranty.

Very good light. bright and powerful all the settings seem to work just fine. pressure pad is just shy of 3 inches in length and just a bit more than a half-inch in width for anyone that wanted to know those measurements for a fore-grip (like I did), one person complained about the mount being cheap, I can't comment on this issue as I did not use the mount it came with, another complained about the mode selector ring being overly loose which must have just been a lemon he received because mine works just fine, it's just a tad bit loose for my liking but not to the point where recoil could shake it to a different setting or to the point where it's 'overly loose' or anything like that. with mine, the pressure pad seems to be a bit finicky whereas I seem to have to place the wires in a certain position to get the pad to work, but I don't know if that's a flaw or if the unit just needs some breaking in but don't let that deter you from your potential purchase. all in all I am satisfied with the purchase.

This light is adequate for night hunting with a .22LR rifle, but doesn't have the required range for effective hunting with a centerfire. The 105 model made by LiteXpress is quite a bit more powerful, and I use that one on a .17 HMR that has more range than the .22LR guns. For the bigger guns, .204 and .22-250, there's much better stuff out there. Of course, it also costs quite a bit more.The ring adjustable brightness control, as others have mentioned, is very nice. The mount is quite good, switch isn't bad. Colored filters drop the output considerably, but that can be a good thing when the critters are spooking easily.

**Update 10/9/16**I contacted customer service regarding the corroded battery. They promptly mailed me not just the battery type that was bad, but double and triple A's as well. Very good customer service. Nice flashlight and works great.**I'll update this if I get a response from the seller.**Nice flashlight, but I cannot use it. A battery they sent with it was corroded to the point it was leaking.As you can tell by the pictures, one battery is fine the other is not.Not the best quality assurance when they ship a brand new item with this poor battery quality. I may be returning item.

I like this well made product however its quite big for a side mount and it doesn't have a stay on feature that I can see.

Good flashlight. Tactical switch is pretty good and not sensitive. They do make smaller, lighter flashlight for the same price... cord is long enough to mount on the front of normal length ar 15 or shotgun barrel and reach the pistol grip. Use some Coband to keep switch in place.

Just bought this on Tuesday, arrived on Thursday! A very bright flashlight that is very easy to operate. the three covers look great, the flashlight is full metal and so is the very sturdy picatinny mount. my only complaint is that the pressure pad is tough enough you actually need to push it instead of a slight tap. Still very nice over all and definitly worth the price. I taped the pressure pad to my vertical grip and it sits very well. Thanks for a inexpensive great flashlight! Also the seller sends you a nice thank you note with your purchase and it comes in a magnetic opening box!!!!
