Like just about everyone, I often find myself at dinnertime with no idea what to make. The typical fallback is takeout, even though I know it doesn't provide a well balanced and nutritious diet. The idea of freezing your meals a week or even month in advance is not new. But I like this book because I know that all of the recipes in it will freeze well.I also liked the information at the start of the book about freezing, thawing, what can be frozen and what shouldn't be frozen. It's nice to have that information all in one place and handy to refer to.At this time of year, I tend to crave comfort food, like many people do, and I would be much less likely to overindulge if I had ready made meals in my freezer, ready to thaw and eat.This book is full of handy information and great sounding recipes that have inspired me to get going and freeze next week's dinners. And especially the nutritional information about the dish is included.Features all kinds of meats and poultry dishes along with vegetarian meals.Chicken pot pie and pizza dough would be my favorites of things to freeze for use at a later time.

I'm not a mom, but as a super busy dad I have been wondering how to get food prepared and stored for those busy days. I'm very glad I bought this book!The recipes in this book are not only considerate of the little time I have, but they are extremely easy to prepare! Aside from being easy I have found almost all of these recipes are nutritious! This book was worth more than the money I paid, it truly is a massive time savor.Oh, and the recipes are extremely tasty. If you have a hectic schedule I'd grab this book right now!

I felt like there could be a little more variety, but I also feel like I use a lot of the recipes. I have a large chest freezer so I am always looking to fill it and enjoy quick meals at the end of a busy day.

I love it when there are several dishes that are interesting in one recipe book! The artichoke chicken soup is what I am making today.P.S. I made the Chicken and Artichoke Soup with Basil. It was AWESOME. Great combination of flavors. I need to figure out how to can it for year around use. It is hearty enough for winter and light enough for summer. This one recipe is worth the whole book. I will edit again with the next tried recipe.

Great time saving recipes. I never seem to have time to make diner and I have a family of 4 to feed. This book should help make that processes easier and less painful....

This book is filled with great ideas to fill your freezer with delicious meals, and then just pull one out on a busy day. As a busy mom of two girls, I appreciate the freezing tips and prep ideas. Now, I will be able to take the family skiing and know that a delicious dinner is thawing at home. Thanks!

There's some fantastic recipes in here. It makes alot of sense to be able to make a few dishes in bulk and then freeze them, and saves alot of time. Well worth a read

Excellent book

In this hard times every penny counts and this book shows how to have a delicious meal whilst saving a bit of money in the process

Not a lot in here that was new to me, probably only for people starting out.
