My Baby Journal: A Keepsake for Baby's First Three Years Diary – June 16, 2009

I like this Book but wish it had more example more Organized Family Tree Page says for Father's Section Father, Grandmother, Grandfather Great Grandfather Greatmother this part kind of confusion bc what side should you put just Father's mother's side or Father's dad's side I suppose it's up to that person but should said Father's Father Grandfather's & Father's Mother's Grandfather it also should have had Blank spots to fill in Step Mother Step Grandma ect.. I know it's going in depth but still... Family Tree is Important... Hard to come along Heritage/Family Tree... Should also be more Photo Pages for Cuz.. est... Wish had at least 2 baby shower pages only 1 90% of people have 2 Baby showers at least. wish there was pocket hooked to back page aka cover of the book so can add extra stuff to it one on front page but wish one more.. This seem's like alot of things I didn't like but I like this book over all was perfect...

I like this book, but that's just it, I LIKE this book.It's everything I wanted, but I kept thinking I wanted more.Then I dug through all of the pages.Turns out, your baby's homecoming, and information about Mom and Dad happen in the first pages, as they should, but then you get to learn about the Aunts and Uncles toward the middle of the book, and all of the 'Firsts' are listed somewhere near the 1 year mark.I had to flip through multiple pages before I could record the first smile!!That being said, there are really cute quotes, picture frames to make it more like a scrap book, and lots of space to write!Seriously, my only drawback was the layout. Other than that, GREAT book!

I love this baby book so much, I've bought a copy for all three kids! I got it for my firstborn, but when I tried to find a good book for my second, I was disappointed by everything else. This has plenty of pages for information and also personal notes and leaves nothing out. But most importantly, there is a page for a photograph or keepsake every other page, at least.I've used them for all three kids, though I do something a little different. I use the pages from these books in a scrapbook so that I can skip pages without leaving it blank (and so it's not so obvious to subsequent children that I have no idea when they got their first tooth, etc). It's important to me to have a baby book for each child, and this one gives me everything I need. I highly recommend it.

I do like this baby memory book. The paper picture frames are nice, the pages give plenty of room for photos and filling in answers. BUT, one major chapter has been left out of this book...pregnancy. There's nothing about the day you found out you were expecting, what you felt or thought, nothing for your doctor's name, nothing for pregnancy pictures. There's not even a space for the ultrasound photo...how does a baby memory book skip the ultrasound photo? There's also nothing about siblings, though that part isn't unusual. So while I like this book and have enjoyed filling it out for our expected baby, I'm disappointed that there's no good place to commemorate the first 9 months. I've been gluing pregnancy photos over the introduction pages just so I have them in the book.

As this is my first baby and I love memory books, I researched many baby books looking for the best one. I'm really happy with this one. It has great lead in questions and has lots of room for pictures and plenty of room to journal. I also really liked that it covers up to the first 3 years of baby's life. These authors also make "My Pregnancy Journal" which I got as well. I finished my Pregnancy one and now I'm working on the Baby one. Both books have been fun to fill out. Highly recommend! It's the perfect Baby Shower gift!

I have the Ultimate and this one and like this one better for my second child. Many of the features and pages are the same, but it's a little more to the point. I like it a lot and will look forward to filling it out. I do wish the size was the same as the Ultimate as it seems a little small for adding lots of pictures to.

My son is 8 months so I was a little late, but the great thing about this journal is that it keeps in mind the first 3 years. Wish I'd had it when I was pregnant because it has a "before you were born section." I also love that it comes with 3 sizes of frames for all the pictures it asks for.

Very cute baby journal! There are a few things I wish it had, but its pretty thorough and I like the spots for pictures, and the room for a "letter" at the end of each chapter to share your thoughts.

Ein wunderschönes, detailreiches Babytagebuch. Die Farbe ist schöner als es auf der Abbildung erscheint. Das grün ist in Wirklichkeit etwas pastellfarbener und nicht so kräftig. Wenn man gerne alles festhalten möchte, aber keine Ideen hat was man alles Schreiben kann, nimmt einem dieses Buch das denken ab. Die linke Seite zeigt bestimmte Fragen und dient zum Schreiben, die rechte Seite bietet Platz für das entsprechende Bild zu dem jeweiligen Abschnitt z.B. Bilder nach der Geburt, Taufe, 1. Urlaub, Lieblingsspielzeug etc. Für die Fotos sind auch kleine hübsche viereckige Rahmen beigelegt in verschiedenen Größen (siehe Foto). Es ist zum Teil aber etwas zu viel des Guten, da unter anderem eine Seite nach den aktuell beliebtesten Schauspielern, Sportlern etc. vielleicht nach einigen Jahren auch nicht uninteressant. Nimmt aber entsprechend Zeit in Anspruch all solche Fragen auszufüllen. Die Ecken meines Exemplars sahen etwas mitgenommen aus, aber Amazon bietet zum Glück Ersatz so dass ich mich schon auf das ausfüllen freue!

Das Baby Journal ist sogar noch besser als ich erwartet habe. Die Seiten sind sehr schön gestaltet und es gibt viel Platz für Fotos. In einer praktischen Tasche am Anfang kann man auch lose Papiere oder Bilder aufbewahren. Es ist perfekt aufgeteilt und schön untertitelt. Ausserdem gefällt mir das Format. Ich habe kein annähernd schönes Baby-Tagebuch in deutsch gefunden. Entweder es waren fremde Babybilder auf dem Cover, die Einteilung war ungenügend oder es waren viel zu große Formate. Zudem wollte ich ein unisex Design (in deutsch kaum zu finden, entweder rosa oder blau...finde ich dämlich). Umso glücklicher bin ich über dieses Babybuch. Und das Englisch finde ich nicht störend, die Worte sind einfach und gut verständlich.Meine Bewertung: Absolut perfekt. 5 Sterne, Daumen hoch und Prädikat: empfehlenswert!!!

I should have expected this but i find the book old fashioned and cheesy with titles like : 'who was the first person to hold me' and 'what they thought of me'. On the other hand, there is a section for current events (which movies are popular and how much is gas) which is neat. I also like the section for parents' reflexion. I recommend considering a digital photo book instead of a baby book. I also prefer a calendar style for recording events.

Tons of straightforward fun questions but not too much detail that it gets boring but enough of the things you will care to remember in 20 years. I really like it! The picture squares that come with it are adorable and it's been fun to fill out!

It has so many incredible pages to record the amazing journey of baby. If you already have My Pregnancy Journal, this one is repetitive rather than a sequel or follow. there are pages that repeat. I wouldn't recommend it if you already have the pregnancy journal. It's great though. I love the space for hand imprint (although I should've waited until my bb was a little older just to have a good imprint but it's great!
