The convenience of having a wall socket charger without extra wires and a in car socket charger is convincing.The implementation, however, is severely flawed. The resistors burnt up the first time I used it on 110AC. I've opened it up to find that the board is a typical product of china. Low quality components and badly put together. If it works for you, its probably going to be good for awhile, just don't count on it on trips out. You don't wanna be caught without a battery charger, as I did...However, I must add that SterlingTEK vigilantly made efforts to replace the unit that I've received. The product might not be of high quality, but at the end of the day, it works. What I like is it folds up so you can easily carry it in your camera bag and there are no cords to lose or tangle. It also has an indicator light that goes from red to green when your battery is charged. I've only used it on AC and have not tried the auto adaptor, so i don't know how well that works, but so far so good using AC.
