Weird, added uselessness, but ultimately fine.
So this thing is ridiculous, the extra "claws" don't do anything, which is funny, because if they screwed this design up the other way, with the class on the bottom, it would help prevent you from dropping your phone while clamping it. How it is, it just blocks a whole area you could hold your phone while you clamp it with other clamps. Still 5 stars, because it was cheaper than any 4 claw clamps, and it's nit picking to say it's worse, I could say it's better, because the rubber things wear out and fall off, and this has 2 useless ones to harvest from ;). (none have fallen off this yet, but they will, I use this 30 times a day or more.

Save half of what you would pay for RAM mount.
Using on my 2011 ZX10R. Hard to find a good mounter to use on this bike. Ram was about $55. This one for half price. Same quality. Great product.
