Rinse fruits and vegetables or drain pasta with the KitchenAid Collapsible 4-Quart Colander. This essential tool collapses for efficient and space-saving storage in cabinets, and is made from durable materials that stand up to daily use. The expandable handles allow the colander to securely fit across almost any size sink. Dishwasher safe. Review: Great size - Love how big it is! Review: If you hate your colander…buy it - If you’re one fence, hop off! For 10 years, I have despised my colander—the room it takes up, how hard it is to clean, how it touches the bottom of the sink. All of those problems are gone with this beautiful invention! Easy to use, clean, and store!

Didn’t hold up
I received this as a gift. I have used it about 10 times. I used it last night to strain boiled cabbage and the entire bottom fell off into the sink.
