Waffle Pantry Liege Waffle Mix, 32 oz

I was extremely happy to find Waffle Pantry's products on Amazon. Originally, I intended to only buy their pearl sugar. After trying to locate yeast, I changed my plan and purchased this kit. Very happy I did. The directions on the mix package were short, sweet and to the point. No kneading time was listed so I fell back on previous experience and used my stand mixer, with dough hook, on 2 for 6 minutes. Then oiled the resulting sticky dough and let it rise in my electric pressure cooker (yogurt setting) on low, for an hour. Punched it down, added the sugar, folded in, divided and let it rest in the cooker (off) for another 15 minutes. Rather that cook my waffles one at a time, in the center of the oiled iron, I opted to cook two at a shot. 2 1/2 minutes was long enough to cook through but did make them a bit dark, especially where the sugar pearls melted. Cleaning in between cooks was crucial! Happy to have a supply baked up for breakfast all week long. Have been reheating for a couple of minutes in my air fryer. Soooo delicious! Now, to shop Amazon for a waffle iron with a thermostat I can control....

This mix makes delicious waffles. It takes some time to make the mix with letting it rest, well worth the wait. The company has great customer service.

This recipe is so easy to use and sooo tasty! I have purchased this many times for Saturday waffles with friends or family and it never disappoints. It doesn't need any syrup or anything because of the pearl sugar, but it does pair well with whipped cream or fruit!

Great supplies for authentic Belgian waffles!

If you love those packages little Belgian waffles with sweetness, these are great to make the authentic ones. BUT, if you are used to instant ready waffle mixes of usual brands, you might be surprised that you need to let this rise. However, if you do go ahead and try this you will love the flavor. Adding too many sugar crystals like the packaging says can be OVERLY sweet is my only comment. Recently I added Matcha powder to the dry ingredients and they were a hit with the family. Great with Powdered sugar.

Made the mix which was great. But I also made the recipe on the back of the pearl sugar. That one was good too. Waffles were a hit both times.

This pancake mix was everything I hoped it would be! I have been craving Leige sugar waffles for a long time and it’s so hard to find pearl sugar and quality waffle mix (high end). This was amazing! Takes about 3 hours prep time as it’s a dough and must rise but you will never eat a better sugar waffle in your life… 5 stars easy…

Very easy to make following instructions. Everything you need included. The most delicious waffles I have ever had. And my family agrees. Totally worth the extra time to make these fresh. I froze half of the completed waffles and they were just as tasty after thawed and put in the toaster. Even the littles ate them as is without syrup! Highly recommend and will purchase again.
