Seriously. This thing turned my Akorn chargriller into a precision smoking machine. Using a ring of fire technique, with this, you can smoke at 225 degrees for 24+ hours. I do wish it had wireless monitoring (for peace of mind and food temperature). I bought a 40 dollar wireless monitoring set to solve this one shortcoming. Its EASY to setup, and works so so well. I have smoked ribs, butts, briskets, salmon, chicken, duck, and goat shanks with this, all have turned out great due to the consistency this setup brings. I have used it over 50 times now, it hasn't let me down. If you own a BGE, akorn or other type of Kamodo grill, and don't own an IQ system, you are missing out big time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ IQ120 *by R***O on September 7, 2015* Bought the IQ120 for my Char-griller Akorn. It works as described, and is a game changer when it comes to low and slow cooks.7.9.2016 update.Unit probes stopped working, and seemed to cause the controller to go haywire. Going to order new probes and see if that fixes it, will update again once I try them. In the products defence I've had very expensive probes go bad quicker than this product did. Unfortunately it was at the expense of an epic piece of meat. ### ⭐⭐ Ability to operte it and limited instructions are a dud *by M***L on August 12, 2019* The frist thing is that it would not fit the egg port, secondly the jibberesh to understand the electronic control should embarrass the designer and I'm a professional engineer and third the bluetooth never did work. It is worthless and I BBQ all the time and know what I'm talking about but last Amazon had this as a five star. I mialed it back after three days of owning it.
