Will be using this A LOT!!!!
Got this setup yesterday under the deck coming off of my 2nd story! Works great and lays like a dream! Going to have many many hours of swinging under the sky in this hammock! I bought this hammock because of its price and seemed to be well made! I also purchased this one specifically for the warranty! Even the other Hammock sellers were kind of questionable to shady about their warranties. The Rocky Peak Hammock had no qualms about shouting lifetime warranty in the heading which led me to be confident in them! free ropes that come with it I put around my 2x6 posts with some nails on the 3 sides for the rope to be able to rest on. The hammock is every bit as comfortable and relaxing as I'd thought it would be! I cant wait to see what other products they come out with!As for me I'd definitely purchase again or recommend this one to anyone!

Great Luxury Item for Backpacking
I bought this hammock for a backpacking trip at the end of June. The weight was reasonable, though a luxury during this 50 mile trek. I'm glad I had it though. It was sturdy and the hanging hardware and rope that the hammock came with made its setup really easy. The parachute material of the hammock was cool, tough, and breathable as well. If you don't mind carrying the weight of a hammock then this one is worth buying. Its durability and breathability are great, as was the price. Also, it packed well and took up minimal space in my pack.

I brought this on my most recent backpacking trip. This is my first hammock so I asked my friends to help set it up for me. They mentioned that straps for a hammock are much easier to put up than the old fashioned rope. Luckily, one of them brought straps so I was able to use that. I am still glad I brought the rope because I used to to tie other things throughout the trip! Overall, the hammock is relaxing and worth the buy. My boyfriend is 250 lbs and fell asleep comfortably in it. I do wish the hammock was a little wider in order to fit two people, but not a huge deal. This will definitely be an item I bring along to future trips.

Didn't fit our needs but 5-stars for customer service
Bought this item for my spouse and I to take on hikes/camping/etc because it said it could fit two people in it. The two of us (a combined 280lbs) could not lay in it comfortably, we felt as if the slightest movement would flip the whole thing over. We contacted them saying we were unhappy with it not fitting two people and they offered a refund. So even though it was a disappointment that we couldn't use it when we got to our hiking spot, it is an overall nice and comfortable hammock for one person. It also folds up into a small bag for easy transport and storage, and the bag can be used as a pocket when laying in the hammock. Since it doesn't fit the two of us we have no use for it, I ended up giving it to a relative and they said they liked it.

Worth every ounce
I took this hammock on my backpacking trip to Kalalau. Now to those who don't know, Kalalau Beach is the end point of the historic Na Pali Coast trail on Kauai. 13 miles, hiking in and out of countless valleys up and down numerous ridges, it has earned its status as one of the most dangerous and beautiful accessible hikes in the world. And I'll tell you what, after hiking that hard, the hammock was worth every single ounce. For those counting ounces, it was 1.3 pounds by itself and just over 2 with the straps (not included). It's good, strong material; easy to set up, and extremely comfortable. Highly recommended!

It's been a great hammock overall
This product is priced really well, and works well for the price. The material is light-weight and breathable, but it does stretch out a little over time. I've had it for a year, and the seams have started to fray a little, but not to the point where there are holes or it's unusable. It's been a great hammock overall!

The quality is up to par with the hammock used by others in our backpacking group. But their's was more expensive (REI ENO brand which are $50 plus). The only draw back is that im a larger person, I would gladly sacrifice the 13oz weight for slightly more material. I'm 6'-1" and 230 lbs, the hammock is definitely strong enough but not wide enough to completely cover me overnight. Of course I improvised with a sleeping bag but it would be nice to be able to cover myself with only the hammock fabric, especially when its 90+ degrees at night.Suggestion: Make an extra wide hammock and I'll buy another one. I'll give the one I have to my wife.

Great hammock, great price!
We absolutely love this hammock. I was a little concerned before buying because it seemed like we were getting a lot at such a reasonable price. I was hoping that we wouldn't be disappointed because it was a gift for my husband that we were giving him on the camping trip. It turned out to be perfect! The fact that it already included the extra ropes was so helpful since I wouldn't have really known what to buy. I can say that we certainly pushed the limits with 5 kids at a time or my husband plus a couple kids. Many naps were taken as were many thrill rides by the kids. I would highly recommend this product.
