I switched from a couple of other well known brands, one down to the excessive amounts of pop ups and notifications even adverts that were a plague, and another that from a long as 4 months before it's renewal was up was popping up reminders because I had tuned off auto renewal. This has been a more relaxing experience and over 12 months has been excellent software. I recently received an auto renewal notice, just one, asking me to check my credit card details and that I would be charged a lot of money to renew. So I just bought a new license from Amazon instead, less than half the quoted price and just a matter of adding the new number to my account. Been in IT for decades and this is one of the best security products out there.

Bitdefender offers excellent internet security at an affordable price.

Since buying the subscription on 29th December have been trying to activate. Licence is accepted, but requires you to submit bank card details for next years auto-renewal. When trying to do has an error on saving card details and can get no further. Have tried numerous browsers, bank cards to no avail. Upon contacting Bitdefender support have provided screenshots, invoice, everything, but now receiving no response. Have requested a formal complaint be raised, no response. Phoned up today, right from offset had awful customer service - person said I needed to contact the organisation who runs the payment system myself. When asked if a formal complaint was raised - he said there would be no response to this as they just saw it as feedback. I asked if there was a complaints team or even a supervisor - he said no! He was the highest person I could speak to. Throughout the advisor was unpleasant and speaking over me, and finally put the phone down on me. From my side I stayed calm and polite so felt there was no excuse. As stated to the advisor, the software was good, worked well, but unfortunately has been let down by the support team.

I have been using BitDefender Total Security now for a number of years after 15 years with Mcafee. I don’t pay the high sub renewal price Bitdefender ask. I always buy a new sub often from Amazon. As I already have an account with Bitdefender, all I needed to do was to add the new digital licence code to my account. Didn’t have to go through the palaver of uninstalling and installing.

I have used Bit Defender for a number of years now. The software is easy to install and maintain. The price of renewal can be higher than just buying new so it is always worth checking out the new v. renew pricing.

Use on all my devices no problem. Good support as well.

I already use Bitdefender as it seems to work well. I wanted to extend my subscription and found this in the Black Friday sale ant half the price of the Bitdefender website Black Friday sale price. I was a bit worried by some of the comments but decided to go ahead. I bought it, Amazon prompted me to look at the data. This took me to the Order details which has a "Go to your software library" button - this takes you to the activation code. I put the code into my Bitdefender account in Bitdefender central. It allows you to use a code to extend your subscription or add a new subscription - I chose extend. In all it was about 5 clicks and I'd done it before the email arrived with the activation code in it. All good.

Bitdefender is still rated one of, if not 'the', best PC security suites.I must have been using this for at least a decade now & at c.£25 for the 10 device version it's an absolute steal.It wins awards each year & having tried others in the early days this is still the one to beat.
