Kit came with battery and tools needed for the job. Step by step instructions are on-line. If you are handy, you can do it. Hardest parts were the super tiny screws and removing the old battery from the adhesive.

All the tools were available for the battery install. The battery fit perfectly(has replacement adhesive and new glass for the front). The phone stays charged as good as when the phone was new (iphone 6). This battery has only been installed for two weeks so hopefully it lasts a while. As the directions say, WATCH Youtube, and pick several tutorials to view. You may pick up different hints from each.I gave it five stars for ease of install but you have to follow a good tutorial!UPDATE: Unfortunately, after four months of perfect operation the battery began to swell and put pressure on the screen. Yontex sent out a new one right away, very professional.

When I originally received the pack I was impressed with how many tools it came with and started working on replacing my iPhone 6 battery - however when I went to test the battery before installing it completely it would not start. I instantly tried to return to battery thinking it was defected and contacted them through Amazon and a customer service rep. They got back to me immediately saying for me to charge the battery first a bit before installing it and if it still didn't work to return it. I followed their directions and it worked - and a bonus was they are allowing me to keep the replacement battery they sent me! Thanks for the great customer service guys!

If you have any hand/tool skills at all you can replace your own battery with the aid of YouTube instruction videos. Take your time and be methodical. A magnifying glass really helps. Nice to not have to carry a spare power pack around anymore. One critical detail, set up a way to keep track of which screw goes where as they are different lengths and are NOT, repeat NOT interchangeable.

If your old iPhone 6 is anything like mine was, you can barely make it through a day without charging it. Within 2 hours with all the bells and whistles turned off, the battery drops 20%. Buy this, but WATCH THE MANY AVAILABLE VIDEOS on YouTube, and watch them until you feel confident. You don't have to remove the top display if you're careful. I recommend the use of the Optivisor or equivalent magnifier. I was slow and nervous, and it took me about 20 minutes to do the upgrade. Just be careful pulling out the battery adhesive strips. After fully charging the phone the first time, the battery has dropped only 4% in the last 18 hours.You got this. Buy it and do the upgrade. You won't regret it unless you go Gorilla Mode and tear up your phone. After fully charging it, the phone was down to 80% after two days. Much better than before.

My old iPhone 6 was dead and the screen was starting to separate from the phone because of a bulging dead. battery. (I’m amazed it didn’t catch on fire)It was a worse case scenario that the local repair shop didn’t want to mess with.I watched the YouTube video and made an attempt at the repair and it worked!

This has been phenomenal! It has been months and rather than charge my phone every couple hours, which was all it lasted, now it is every couple days. I used a Utube video for installation. It takes a detailed and slow methodical process but it’s doable for the right person. It’s as if I have a new phone rather than an original iPhone 6. Couldn’t be more thrilled! Through this process now I know how to change out the screen as well if I ever need to. You will be well pleased!

This is a great product and priced well. It came with all of the tools that you need and seems to be good quality, watch a few youtube videos and anyone with a little mechanical ability should be able to do the job. One word of advice, be careful when removing your old battery, the adhesive is very strong and while prying it out of the case I must have punctured it and it discharged a cloud of smoke. No serious harm done but it probably would have been worse if it had a full charge.
