GROM WLQ1TC Wirelinq Smart Android USB Type-C Car Converter Cable

I tried this in a 2012 Toyota with the Advanced Audio and it has very limited functionality. Toyota announced they were removing a number of apps (thanks Toyota), including Pandora so I was looking for something that would replace this functionality. I really wanted this to work, unfortunately it didn't. It often doesn't work right away, I need to quit and restart the app to hear the sound, I'm not seeing any of the album art and the built-in apps behave very oddly - this is actually difficult to explain. There's an option to add shortcuts to additional apps, selecting one simply starts that app, nothing special happened.If the built-in apps were better and there were more of them, I could see using this, but as it stands now, it has little use.

I like this concept cable for my 2012 Honda Accord. It came with a few apps programmed in it like Pandora, (which I haven't tried it yet). I also was able to load other third party apps on it as well. They ALL WORK! I do have an issue with some static interference when streaming YouTube, or watching Hulu, or using the other apps which comes and goes, and I did contact Grom's customer service and they were EXTREMELY helpful in trying to find out what was wrong and got back to me via email very quickly! Apparently, the issue may lie with the Android operating system, but like I said it comes and goes, but other than that I still like it and I get to listen to my music without using using the Bluetooth, which by the way, the Dashlinq app also works through Bluetooth. I'm hoping maybe with the next Android software update, there won't be anyone issues..

this is a useless expensive usb-C cable, it didn't do what it was supposed to do although I confirmed the compatibility of my car and mobile with the seller before buying it, all what I got is the song name on the car screen, but the song did not playDON'T BUY THIS RUBBISH

The product did not function with my set up. Essential phone with 2013 rogue, but this company is a pleasure to deal with. Will definitely re-purchase when I get a new car.

I have had this for several days and it has only worked twice other of a dozen drives. I installed Daslinq, followed set up, restarted my phone and car at times, uninstalled and reinstalled Dashlinq. Maybe it's my LG G6.? I think this quirky cable needs retooling. I am returning it.
