Very solid and supports weight well. My weight cage is 49 inches wide, three inch posts, and one inch holes and the unit fits very well. Cons: Saddles for each dumbbell are a bit close so the initial lift will have the arms closer than what is ideal. Takes a little getting used to to rerack the weights when lifting. The rubber sleeves that go on the saddle can be difficult to get on if you follow the instructions. Instructions say use soapy water. Doesn't work well. I used WD-40 and it went on like a breeze. Finally, most lifters know that for the initial lift of a bar the best position is to have the eyes looking directly up at the bar and then clear the bar from the rack on the lift. Problem here is the dumbbells will hit the saddle when the weights are coming down because the saddle protrudes. This means having to be in a position slightly forward to clear the saddles when lifting up and down. This can be hard on the delts so I recommend on the initial lift to exaggerate the retraction of the scapula so as to avoid injury.
