It is a solid wood table.
I love the table. The table is gorgeous. I have been researching for a table for 3 months. I wanted a solid wood dining table that was not to big for my apartment. This table did not disappoint. It is 54x54 and extend to 54x72. The extended leaf is built in so you don’t have to worry about storing it. Beautiful finish on the table. I put the legs on by myself but The table is heavy and you will need someone to help you flip it over. This is real wood not compressed wood or veneers. I had a problem with a broken piece during shipping but the customer service was outstanding. The company responded quickly and everything was resolved. I love my table. Lovely table
On opening the box we found a broken piece. It took a while to figure out where or if it came from the table. It was part of the butterfly leaf and is part of the opening assembly. My husband decided it was an easy fix so we didn't bother saying anything, besides, we probably will never open it out anyway. I love the table. It looks lovely in my kitchen.
