Designed by the same engineering team behind all of Casper’s sleep products, the dog mattress is a universally comfortable sleep surface for our four-legged friends. We combined our mattress-making know-how with extensive dog-centered research to create a sleep environment that caters to canines’ natural behaviors. Pups spend more than half their lives sleeping. If any species deserves an outrageously comfortable sleep surface, it’s dogs. So we combined pressure-relieving memory foam and durable support foam to create a bed that loves Fido back. Even the most well-behaved dogs have bad days. But no matter how rough they play, most dogs can’t rip through our durable cover material — it’s made with one of the strongest bonded microfibers available. It’s so tough, similar materials are used in performance footwear designed to withstand years of abuse. This bed will keep its shape, thanks to its fortified construction; It won’t sink, slump, or sag over time. Dogs scratch or dig before laying down. Review: Phenomenal Luxury Orthopedic (for real tho) dog bed - This pet bed is so comfortable and plush that I think I would like to get one for myself as a mattress! I have a senior dog and while this is definitely a luxury item, I wanted to spoil her this year and this bed definitely fit the bill. She loves it so much and it is so thick and keeps her so far off the ground, I know it’s great for temperature control and comfort. I have a 50 pound husky mix, and the medium size worked just fine because her preference is to sleep in a tiny ball. We did buy her a back-up bed that’s larger from a different brand to see if it was more important to her to be able to stretch out, and she still sleeps in both of them in a tiny ball, so now we have one for upstairs and downstairs. Again, it is an expensive purchase, so we’re not buying a second one right now, but I think next year we will definitely be investing to replace the other one. I really love how all the pieces come apart and you can wash the cover if you need to. Oh my gosh! They also included a little stuffed dog frisbee in the packaging, so thoughtful. I’m not sure if that’s a limited holiday treat, but we appreciated that too. I find that a quick vacuum with my Dyson gets majority of the hair and dirt off without needed a wash! Totally recommend, might be a little bias because we have everything Casper but regardless totally worth the purchase!

**Q: is this made in China? Does it contain flame retardant?**
A: The cover is made in China and the foam is full of chemicals.  Recently an article about eco pet beds and that is why I didn't list it.  If you want a healthier pet bed search "GOLS certified dog bed" it should be the 4th from the top. It covers several beds, different materials, chemical free certifications and for dog beds and cat beds.

A: I have an 80 lb. standard size Bernedoodle that loves this bed.

**Q: Does this bed sink to the floor like most dog beds? Thanks in advance :)**
A: It actually stays pretty firm, even with our dog trying to burrow it’s very resilient

**Q: Can you buy replacement inserts if destroyed?**
A: Not sure about inserts, but our dog after a year destroyed the cover and it was easy to replace with Casper and their excellent customer service!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Phenomenal Luxury Orthopedic (for real tho) dog bed

This pet bed is so comfortable and plush that I think I would like to get one for myself as a mattress! I have a senior dog and while this is definitely a luxury item, I wanted to spoil her this year and this bed definitely fit the bill. She loves it so much and it is so thick and keeps her so far off the ground, I know it’s great for temperature control and comfort. I have a 50 pound husky mix, and the medium size worked just fine because her preference is to sleep in a tiny ball. We did buy her a back-up bed that’s larger from a different brand to see if it was more important to her to be able to stretch out, and she still sleeps in both of them in a tiny ball, so now we have one for upstairs and downstairs. Again, it is an expensive purchase, so we’re not buying a second one right now, but I think next year we will definitely be investing to replace the other one. I really love how all the pieces come apart and you can wash the cover if you need to. Oh my gosh! They also included a little stuffed dog frisbee in the packaging, so thoughtful. My 10yr old dog, is absolutely obsessed with her new bed, she's got some hip and joint issues in her back legs and the bed being high but not elevated makes it so easy for her to get up and down. I would even say it's got a cooling aspect to it and the cover is extremely durable and easy to clean. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Favorite dog bed so far

I get on these kicks looking at dog beds, in search of the perfect one. I'm not going to say this one is perfect, but it's my favorite we've ever had! We have a 65 pound boxer who is 3 years old. He likes to sleep on anything comfy (that may or may not be made for dogs). As you can see in the pictures, he enjoys his Casper bed! So it is dog approved - he lays on it often and both curls up and stretches out. He likes the bolsters. But I also approve it! I like how thick and firm the mattress is and the 4 bolster inserts. The cover material is sturdy and feels like it'll last (it's been in the washer and dryer just once so far), but still comfy enough to attract the pup. I like how they designed the cover and zippers - putting it together is easy and it holds it's original shape. The only thing I wish is that there was a size between the medium and large. We got the large and I wish it were a tad smaller. But I think the medium would be too small since he does like to stretch out, too. It doesn't bother me enough to want a different bed. If I do buy him another bed, it will likely be this very one. I'm telling you, we've had several brands and styles... And I'm really liking this one. Pricier than I've spent on dog beds, but I'm glad I did!
