I was afraid of having a cable that long but the phone charges just fine. I passed the phone around the living room without having to unplug it.The LED lights cycle through the rainbow, which is really cute, but they also helped me find my phone when I knocked it off the nightstand. No more finding my phone by hauling it up with the cable.Samsung Galaxy S5, BTW.I also used the cable to operate a Qi wireless charger.
