This cable replaces the cable connecting my phone to the USB power cube that came with my phone.I love that this cable is 10' long. I was afraid of having a cable that long but the phone charges just fine. I passed the phone around the living room without having to unplug it.The LED lights cycle through the rainbow, which is really cute, but they also helped me find my phone when I knocked it off the nightstand. No more finding my phone by hauling it up with the cable.Samsung Galaxy S5, BTW.I also used the cable to operate a Qi wireless charger. I charged my phone then moved the charger to hubby's end table.It's very convenient.

Looks like these cables online come from a bad batch. People complaint about light becoming opaque in a short time. Well, it happened the same to me. However, my husband bought one years ago in a hardware store and it's still working. I bought more from the same hardware store and they are working great. About other durability, my husband had to glue the plastic base of 5he micro USB as it was sliding down. It also comes off from the phone like the teeth that holds it in place wore out. The two of mine are still ok.

One cable in just three days pulled out of the blue grabbing point when removing from tablet.

not intelligent, stays lit all the time...Never shutsboff.

Had to return it twice. Neither time did they work. Plugged it in its flickers and goes out. Don't bother buying these

Very cool, changes color, useful to know when they are plugged in and to find the end.

The media could not be loaded.  This is the best ever I had micro USB cable.The LED light is so beautifulThe 10 feet long is so convent while charging everywhere.Last long with good quality for 2 months use.5 star.

It's pretty stiff and not very convenient to use. Also, started falling apart shortly after being used.
