Ceramic Christmas Tree 18” green with snow

I was somewhat disappointed with the sizeof the tree it stated 18 inches for the tree but the actual measurement was to the top of the star when it was in i actually was looking for something larger but in my looking around i cannot find the size i would like. the tree itself is very pretty. but did not like having to put the light together. but i am satisfied.

Realizing that I could no longer put up and decorate a Christmas tree I went online in search of a ceramic tree. I was amazed at the number of sizes, styles, and variations from which to choose., but this particular tree had everything I was looking for. The detailing is very much like that of a real evergreen, the green is deep and rich, the dollop,of snow on the tips of each branch glistens like newly fallen snow,, and the multicolor lights make the tree so very festive. . The height of this tree is around 18” tall from it’s top to the base. I. absolutely love my new Christmas tree......it definitely gives my home the “Merry and Bright” feel I was looking for. P. The ceramic Christmas tree is very pretty, you can tell a lot of work went into making it. I did not use the incandescent bulb that was sent with it. I used a led bulb which makes the plastic ornaments shine brighter and with more color. It also only uses 1/4 the power of the 40 watt incandescent bulb that came with the tree. Another thing I did was wrap the bottom of the light bulb socket with electrical tape and fold the tape inward to cover the electrical connections on the bottom of the socket. If the light is on and the tree is not covering it then you have 120 VAC on exposed connections under the light socket. Someone could grab the bottom of the socket and accidentally come into contact with 120 VAC, not a safe situation. I know the person that created these is an artist and probably did not think about this danger, but they need to address it.

The tree is very pretty- I love it. The bulbs however are not removable but that is ok. The base is white with a holly leaf painted in flat green no glossy finish like it has on the tree. Looks unfinished to me.

The tree looked AWESOME. But the base looked cheap. It would if looked better if the base was done as good as the tree.

The snow added to the tree is a mess. Either the plastic wrapped around it damaged this or it was damaged in shipment.The tree is certainly not worth the amount that I paid for it.One of the ornaments was broken off.It's too much trouble to return it , so I will just have to live with this purchase.I wish I knew where to buy more snow , so I could repair it.
