Barbiero Torrone Pan Di Spanga Sponge Cake Torrone Italian Nougat

I don't know if it was the cold weather involved in shipping or what but this was a mess when it was opened. I am had to use a different type of torrone for my guests as this could only be scraped out of its packaging with a spoon. The flavor is strong as though it has liquor in it but the chocolate coating simply crumbled and there wasn't enough "sponge".
