My green cheek conures really took to this nest. Normally they lay them on the bottom of their cage and I put some material down and there they will sit for 2 months, once they figure out the eggs wont hatch (because they're 2 girls). This keeps them comfortable while they're doing what they do instinctively. They even like to chew on it, which is better then the grates at the bottom of the cage. Great product, great price.

Very well made and durable. My bird loves it and chews on it of coarse but it’s holding up great she’s been using it a week now I have an African grey and she fits on it with extra room so a larger bird would fit on it as well but not as large as a macaw.

Recently a little mourning Dove had half her nest blown away so of course knew the babies would never make it in what was left of the nest. To Amazon I went looking for a nest and found this nest. It was too big to put on the downspout where the nest was so I had to quickly rig it to make it secure. I wound up putting the existing nest inside the new one. Both parents came back and are very happy! Best purchase of the year!!!

This is very well made and almost too nice to give my little mini hens but they love it. We have a basket full of eggs already and I can't wait to see how this turns out! My birds like this because it simulates their ideal nesting material which is pine needles.

Which is why it meets expectations.Good size and good depth (not too deep and not to shallowfor a pigeon). Nice finish, too.

Nice quality, no odor. Seems clean. Purchased this nesting bowl as a "nest" for my grandson's dinosaur babies, and placed it in his Easter basket with the babies nesting inside it. He was delighted!

Too large for a Quaker

Both my females (cockatiels) don’t like it. Maybe it’s to big for them. They won’t go near it. It has messed up their nesting schedules.
