Long lasting bulb at a great price!
This is the second Baltoro quad prong bulb I've purchased, and I've not been disappointed either time. It arrived well protected and in perfect condition. It fits natural light and craft lamps that use the four prong bulbs. It snapped in easily in about a second. I'm very pleased with the performance. I've been using the first one for almost a year and it's still holding up well. The second one is in a another lamp and has been shining bright for months.

DE-LIGHT-FUL
I have used these bulbs in my lamp for years. They always do the job. Easy to slide into place and they last a really long time.

The replacement bulb I needed!
I have a "daylight" lamp that's great for illuminating needlework and knitting projects, jigsaw puzzles, craft areas, etc., but it's more than 20 years old and no longer made. I have been looking for replacement bulbs for it for years without success. I finally found this one. It installed in seconds, and seems plenty bright. So happy to be able to use this lamp again.

Returning Lamps are not defective.
The lamps that I am returning are not defective. I thought the first lamp received and paid for was defective because my floor lamp would not work. I received a replacement, and that lamp did not work either. After looking at the bottom of the lamp, I checked the ballast. That seems to be the problem. At this point, I am not going to replace the ballast, therefore, I am returning both fluorescent bulbs sent to me. I only paid for the first one, and would like a refund for that one. I used my Amazon card, so you can credit my account.Thank youToni Thomas

Perfect!
I have used my "lights of America" desk lamp for years, everyday....the bulb finally gave up this week. It's very confusing, the exact info off the bulb/description matches umpteeth items here!...all different prices??I just picked one and hoped to be lucky...bulb popped right in the 4 holes, came on, and I feel like I need sun glasses! This bulb is a perfect replacement for my desk lamp and I really didn't see any other lamp that compares with the affection that I have for this one...thank you Amazon!

Exactly what was needed
Needed a replacement bulb and this one fits perfectly; is easy to put in and lights up as soon as it's turned on.

I purchased the FML27/50 as a replacement bulb for the Baltoro SL5720RS Sunlight Desk Lamp.
The FML27/50 is a 27 Watt "Sunlight" compact fluorescent (CFL) bulb. It is made in China and sold by Baltoro LLC (www dot baltoro-llc dot com) through Amazon and Ebay. The color temperature is 6,500K by the D65 viewing standard. For you photography buffs, it is 5,500K by the daylight-balanced photographic film standard. For all practical purposes, it radiates across the visible spectrum producing a bright white light. [Normal daylight radiates somewhat cooler, around 6,000K, and is the usual temperature of lights to treat Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).] In any case, the bulb provides a nice bright light for a desk lamp and, depending on the type of plants, this bulb is also generally acceptable for use as a grow light for an indoor garden. The bulb is a direct replacement for the Baltoro Sunlight series of desk lamps and several other lamp labels including Lights of America (sold by Sears), Trade Mark, Lavish Home, etc. This is a standard FML27 linear quad tube CFL bulb with a four prong GX10Q-4 base that is sold in a wide range of stores. It has an expected life of 10,000 hours. The bulb contains mercury but is RoHS (Restriction of Use of Hazardous Substances) compliant.

Beware!! Bulb destroyed perfectly good lamp!
Have had a floor lamp, which uses this style of bulb, for quite some time. Lamp has performed flawlessly and, over the years, has only required one or two replacement bulbs. The current bulb had seen a lot of use, time to have an extra on hand. It's the only lamp in a small, naturally-dark living room plus it's the sole source of illumination for all crafting, reading, etc. Description of bulb was consistent with the couple other bulbs which had been used in the lamp. Was wary, due to reviews, so wanted to test bulb to ensure it would serve me when current bulb finally gave out.The Baltoro bulb flickered upon start with the first couple uses, not something I'd experienced with other bulbs, but then performed okay for the next few days. On day six, intense, brief period of flickering, then, later, some more subtle fluttering of the light for a while but eventually settled down for rest of day. (Should have taken those as a sign.) Day seven, turned on lamp only to be met with bright flash and then nothing. Not only did bulb die but it killed my dependable floor lamp in the process. To ensure nothing else at play or a temporary fluke, tested lamp in different outlet, re-inserted trusty old bulb...zip, nada. No amount of troubleshooting brought it back to life. Suffice to say...LIVID! Contacted Customer Service who refunded the bulb and, then somewhat begrudgingly, provided a $5 credit as a 'token of apology to put a smile on my face' (their words). Really?!? Am now stuck with the expense of a new lamp. Potential buyers, you've been warned!!
