I have had this in and out of my bag and drug around with me for almost 4 years now. When I am away from home, I needed something that would allow me to connect more than one cable to my devices. It has held up well and always worked when I needed it to. I am able to use it for Samsung Dex with my phone and with multiple PCs and tablets.

I connected an HDMI cable between the adapter and my TV and plugged the adapter's USB pigtail into my iPad (iPad Air [4th generation] Model #MYHF2LL/A) charging port. At first, there was no picture on the TV--I had not plugged the "Official Apple Charger and Cable" that came with my iPad into the adapter dongle's USB port. Once the external power was provided, everything was bunnies and butterflies! I logged into my various streaming accounts (Netflix, Paramont+, Amazon Prime, AppleTV+, Peacock, & PBS) on the iPad and watched short clips on the TV with all 6 apps. YouTube worked fine and I would suspect all my other apps will work as well. Both sound and video quality on the TV were excellent--on my 10-year-old Visio flatscreen (with soundbar) no less.My one complaint: The sellers should tell the user that plugging the iPad charger into the adapter is NOT OPTIONAL--IT NEEDS TO BE DONE (in my experience, at least). In my reading of the documentation, I did not find that clearly stated anywhere.This is my first use of the adapter--if it keeps working as it did initially this will rank among the most satisfying purchases I have made on Amazon. Great value, quality, and performance (so far, at least).

The adapter works great. I am able to watch HDMI podcasts that I see on my android phone on my TV. The only issue I had is that there were little instructions on how to use it once it was connected to my phone and TV. I found that my phone realized the HDMI connection with the TV when it got connected, but I had to figure out how to use the phone to navigate through the TV screen to get where I wanted to go. Once I learned that it's a breeze. I did have to purchase a seperate male-to-male HDMI cable in order to connect it to my TV. Apart from those issues the only issue is that I have to listen to the audio over my phone and not the TV speakers because I have not figured out how to pass the audio from my phone to the TV via the HDMU connection. I do not think that is an issue of the adapted though. It sure is nice being able to see any file or run any app on my TV in HDMI that I have on my phone while having my phone charge at the same time. This product is well worth the money if you want to watch podcasts on your TV.

The product works well on both my different model Macs and various monitors. For the price it's a good adapter. Over time if you have the cord bent at an angle it can sometime have to effect of flickering. Other than that good adaptor for the price

I was so excited to get this product but when I finally received it, I was extremely disappointed. The HMDI port was not working at all. I reached out the company and I cannot even recall there being a response.I cannot seem to find a C-type multi-hub with all the ports working. At this stage, I cannot recommend to product to any of my friends because clearly no quality control or testing was done before sending this product to me. I was sold a defective product.

Lately I've been looking at laptops and Chromebooks to have something lightweight to take with me for certain business situations where breaking out my 19lb powerhouse laptop is just not practical.I kept running into one issue/concern/drawback or another and thought that maybe an android tablet would work. After looking around, I decided the Galaxy Tab S7 with the keyboard/touchpad cover would be perfect, especially with how far Samsung DeX has come in transforming the tablet into a more desktop-like experience.However, I need to be able to present or connect to my main machine via TeamViewer to demo software still in development on a large screen, so I started searching for a USB-C dongle that had HDMI, USB-C power (to keep the tablet charged), and a regular USB port in case I wanted to use an external mouse instead of the touchpad.I came across this unit, read the reviews, looked at the specs, and figured it seemed like it would be a good purchase. I was right! It works perfectly for my needs, looks nice, has a quality feel, comes with a little carrying pouch, and (most importantly) - it just worked right away when I plugged it in. I didn't have to dink around with any settings or perform any weird sequences of events to get things to work; just plugged the stuff in and bada bing bada boom!I haven't had the unit very long, so I cannot speak to the longevity yet, but this is a solid state device - and since the quality of the build appears to be there, I'd venture to assume that unless I abuse the device, it will probably last a long time.

I bought a 2020 Macbook air with only 2 thunderbolt (USB c) ports, and I need to connect 2 HDMI external monitors for work. First you need to buy a Thunderbolt adapter which converts the 2 built-in thunderbolt ports to one HDMI output and one thunderbolt output. So you can use one HDMI port to connect the first monitor, that's the easy part. To use 2nd monitor you need to plug this adaptor to the only 1 thunderbolt on the first adaptor, because you need to charge the Mac and connect 2nd monitor at the same time. It works fine. I actually get 3 monitors including the Mac's own monitor. But I don't need 3, so I close the lid and only use the external monitors. The computer recognizes all of them correctly, and set up the correct resolution etc. This product has an additional USB 3 port (or data transfer only, can not be used for video output), so you can use that for your other devices (wireless mouse transmitter, USB stick, external hard drive etc). I tested and it all works fine. I highly recommend it.

This HDMI Multiport is what what I really needed to connect my devices, it's been working with chromebook and a dell laptop to connect to a screen. Really good.

So, I recently cancelled my cable provider. Subscribed to IPTV service on my phone. Problem is phone too small to watch. So, I searched for an adapter for USB-C to HDMI and saw this product. The price was reasonable, so I decided to give it a try… I am so happy to have bought this product. Works exactly like it should with no issues. You really can't complain about that. I hooked the USB-C port on my phone, the HDMI to TV and viola!... works like magic. No buffering, no delays, just smoothly mirroring on TV. As there is a quick charging USB-C port, I can also charge my phone while casting on TV.I have tried this on my laptop with built-in with 1 HDMI and could not believe that this adapter’s HDMI port can work with dual monitor. The file transfer speed of the USB port is amazing too.Physically the adapter is stylish, with the trademark on top, made of metal on the external housing with a thick cable end that is sturdy. Most importantly, NO set-up required, just plug and play!So, this USB-C adapter is handy, seems to be very sturdy and is a nice compact size for travel too. I would recommend this and would buy it again. Kudos to the company for offering something high quality at a great price.

Arrived in less than 24hours. Extremely quick setup, just plug and play. Picture quality on secondary monitor extending to was not bad at all.Unable to control audio when connected to secondary screen using this adaptor. Unsure if it us user issue or product issue.
