Used this on my Lift Master 98022. When using the learn button on the wall unit, I found that the step where you are supposed to wait (after licking the button 3 times) can be a long wait (over a minute) while the codes are sent to the unit from the transmitter and the rolling code process is established. Your door will eventually open at the conclusion of the process, but you have to wait longer than you would think and its not documented, so you will need to be patient during the process.

This is an awful opener. I've been trying for an hour and can't get it to connect. The manual is difficult to follow and only available via a QR code on the remote itself which then just keeps trying to connect me to the app and doesn't tell me what I'm doing wrong. I'm going back to the old school opener type. I love technology, in fact, I work in tech, but this product has horrible usability!

I would have gave this a better rating if they made it compatible with the myQ smart hub. These do NOT connect directly to your myQ hub if you don’t have the actual myQ door. These remotes would be a good buy if you had the real myQ garage door opener. They still work even without the myQ door opener and I like it better than the ones the door came with. It looks better on my visors. There easy to setup if you read the guide, it will have you download the myQ app but you can look up the instructions.
