So helpful!
I needed an easier way to view my spouse's slide collection for a course I'm taking -- I was using his Kodak slide scanner which is for digitizing slides and negatives, etc., and that was cumbersome. This Eyesen Slide Viewer Light Box plugs into a laptop or hub and is ready to go! It's lightweight -- as thin as a clipboard and about the size of a large laptop. I can get about 15 loose slides comfortably on the surface or a whole sheet. The on/off button also works as a brightening button -- on, brighter, bright, off -- so that might annoy someone but I was fine with it. Because it's so light I could easily grab it or set it aside as I needed it. We have cats so the only problem was making sure to wipe it down with a non-abrasive cloth as necessary. You don't want dirt or hair getting on your photo slides/ negatives. I imagine it would also be good for artists and teachers -- for projects that require tracing. I purchased this for just over $20 (there was a coupon) tax included. I think it was completely worth it!

Very good product.
Haven't had a light box for years but found myself in need of one for a project with a large quantity of 35mm negatives. Wanted something simple, easy to use and able to handle a standard sheet of negatives, or positives, and this one was top of results page of my search. Out of the box, quick blitz through the minimal instructions, plug in via USB, turn it on and go. Light weight, surprisingly thin, bright enough to see good detail on dense negatives and has plenty of room for a std size sheet of negatives. Haven't tried the "scanning" software it comes with it as the also Amazon purchased Kodak scanner is working just fine. Price can't be beat for the functionality. This is an item you could slip into your laptop case and carry with you should you even think you might need it.

Great product!
Near beat product While not perfect due to enlarging itโs such an improvement over old school slide viewers for a quick efficient view of slide. Easy to use and bright and not bulky as itโs ultra thin yet a nice big dimension to lay multiple slides to identify images quickly

LEDs cause banding when photographing, otherwise good value for the money
To the naked eye, it looks nice - three different brightness levels, powered by USB-C, good diffuse light. However, the slides I captured demonstrate banding, a side effect of the PWM (pulse width modulation) used to regulate the brightness of the LEDs. If your slides have a lot going on, and don't have big swaths of sky or blank area, it's probably not something you'll notice, and it's hard to beat the price, but I was disappointed at the results, and will have to try a different approach for capturing my images.
