I like the size and that there are openings in the side, but in such a way that planting mix does not fall out. Worked great for repotting orchids.

I rarely write product reviews. But I am compelled to write a review for this little pot. What a marvelous surprise!I purchased three kinds of orchids clear pots before and none of them can fit in the original porcelain pots from WFs.This one fits perfectly.Moreover, the lip of the inner clear pot hangs itself over the porcelain pot. In this way, it not only allows the inner clear pot to be lift up easily but also leaves about one and a half inch space at the bottom. In other words, the inner pot will never sit in the water.More importantly, its cone shape, air columns, and the space between the bottom of the inner pot and the bottom of the outer pot create maximum air circulation.Design matters no mater how small a product is.

The container diameter is narrow, so the capacity is not that large. The brim is very wide, so it's too noticeable when placed inside a decorative pot. The price was very low and you get six. However, I will probably look for one more of a standard shape.

The best I've used so far:1. sturdy, compared to others2. Proportion of height to diameter is right for orchids3. Holes are small- enable aeration without letting roots come out ( not good for repotting)4. Little feet risers, enable good drainageOverall - very happy!!

Didn’t want to spend a lot of money but needed these pots for 3 orchid plants. Work well for most pots. The lip was too wide for one of my pots. However, I can easily check on the condition of my orchid anytime I want. Still happy with my purchase.

These are great for plants, they absolutely love them—especially aroids. The groves on the walls act like an air pruning setup in the way they direct the roots towards the holes. Really triggers quick growth in plants that root aggressively.

Nice ventilation feature with lots of holes, but smaller base is definitely a problem for head heavy plants. They always have balancing problems, I had to add a secondary container for them so they won't tip over so easily...
