Allah Knows All About Me

I usually like Learning Roots, but this book was just not what I'd come to expect... the illustrations and print of the book are beautiful, as are all of their products...However, the story read different and I then learned it is adapted from another book, God knows all about me... I wish they would've made a toddler book tailored for the little Muslims, like a bit of du'a or something pertinent to them learning some deen... like Allah created my fingers and toes, something to this effect and not just copying a different book and substituting Allah's name...The fail, though, of this book is the page that reads, "from my bottom..." and has an illustration of the boy bending over so his bottom faces the reader... my older children read the book first and warned me that there was something in there that I wouldn't like... ABSOLUTELY INAPPROPRIATE LEARNING ROOTS! SubhanAllah! I don't highlight this in my home and I don't appreciate it being shown like this... This is awrah and in bad taste...In retrospect, I should've just returned the book...I read the other pages and am thinking to either glue the pages or cross it out with permanent marker...Although I don't really care for the story, as there could've been a better story for little Muslims, the toddlers enjoy it... But I wouldn't have bought it had I known about that one page...

Great book but I wasn’t aware that the faces of both girl and the boy weren’t pictured. It would have been nice to point facial parts of the characters as we read along together.

I have just discovered learning roots and I am such a big fan of all their books and activities! This board book is a perfect first book for baby or kids just learning to read. The pictures are lovely and the story is cute! Sorry to say some Islamic themed books are poorly written but learning roots never fails to impress me.

Very nice book.I love the fact that it has 24 pages. Usually the baby board books have very few pages. Another awesome thing about this book is that cartoons do not have faces :) which is very nice alhamdulillah.

Salaam alaykum!!Alhamdulillah i was recommended this book, my son loves it!!We probably read it 7 times or more a day! He even makes some noise along while I read, he loves turning the pages and look at the characters. Today he was make his cute little noises while turning the pages(MashaAllah TabarakaAllah)I loooovvvvee this book. 😍

Dissapointed with this book as none of the children in the book have facial features! How is a child supposed to relate to the animations if they cant see key features such as eyes nose mouth etc? It doesnt make sense as the rest of the bodies are there such as hands etc but no facial features; quite scary for a child to see in fact! I will be returning this.

This is an adorable book with a lovely message. My little one loves it - colourful & engaging. Plus, delivery time was great!
