Looks nice in office setting
Well executed product design. Looks very nice and well finished. Quality of wood was good for the use. Finishing of the globe was good - not mismatched, no country missing, not cheap paper.

Antique looking and Beautiful bookend
The delivery was swift, packaging was good and the Product is Just super.. the finishing and the quality is super and it is bigger than i thought.. If you want a beautiful Antique Bookend.. go for this.

Disappointing purchase, low quality
The bookend seems broken, the globe is scrapping on the wood. Which seems to be detached/broken at the jointSo it seems to be at 75 degreesVery disappointed, was super excited about this purchase. Quite unfortunate

At this price point & without any local market availability option; you can buy this
Looking online through various websites, no better product could be found. Having said that I am not completely satisfied with these for the price I paid.Coming to the product itself the size of the bookend is slightly small (not too small though & not a deal breaker). Both globe and wood is matt and there is no gloss. Globes do not rotate and are rigid around the axis. Craftsmanship is so so.Final verdict is that if you have availability of good local markets then search for better product there. Or buy higher priced items online.At this price point online; this can be bought.

Perfect for a home-library!
These were gifted to a friend who has lots of book-shelves. She loved them, and the dual function of the globe was well admired the family too, a globe as well as a book-end. I may buy one for myself too!
