TrackAid Pulse Oximeter Portable Finger Oxygen Saturation and Pulse Rate Monitor (Blue)

Great to have if you need to monitor you blood 02 concentration. Just like the Dr's office.

The media could not be loaded.  The Oximeter is a good buy. The vital signs were the same when I compared it to another Oximeter that my friend has. Her meter cost more but the reading was the same. It’s accuracy was right on target.The video I took shows how easy it is to use and read.It is super easy to put on. It is opened by pinching the ends of the device and sticking your finger in. When your finger is inside you release the pinched end. It fits tightly on the finger.The button which turns on the meter is easy to push. A small beeping sound tells you when it is done reading your vital signs.The reading is in bright red. It really sticks out. A plus for using it in the day or night.The only thing that could be improved on this Oximeter is the beeping sound that tells you it is finished reading your levels. It is very quiet and hard to hear. It would be better if it was a little louder.The product gets a thumbs up for its accuracy and price.

I just started an exercise routine and I wanted to be able to quickly read my pulse and see my O2 saturation during my cardio exercise. The screen is upside down when it's on my index finger but I just curl my finger and turn my hand over palm up. No problem. The display is easy to read and I really like the look and feel of the unit. It reads my pulse accurately, and I am going to compare the pulse Ox at my next Dr Appointment next week. It came with a very nice woven nylon tactical style black pouch that fits on a belt and a lanyard to wear around the neck. It even came with batteries. The packaging is high quality as well, which reassures me the unit is also high quality. There's a barcode and it has a US address and phone number of the company distributor. If I get an item and the packaging is cheap and doesn't have a barcode I know it's probably going to be iffy at best. Overall it looks to be a great device and the price was great as well. I wish the screen info showed in the opposite direction. I use this on myself and my kids and so I usually read this upside down. If you're a nurse holding it out to someone across from you, then it's great. My last finger monitor that my kids broke was easier because the screen faced the opposite direction. When you're holding a sick child it's a small hassle to read it upside down because for a split second you panic reading the numbers before you remember that its upside down. Other than that it works well. I attached it permanently to its case so I don't lose either and it's easier to find.

First, why would you make it where you have to turn your fingers toward yourself to read the readings. I bought this due to high ratings. I have a different one and when you look down the readings are presented. Seems easier to just look down to read. Eg. Say riding bike you will have to take finger off handle and turn toward yourself to read. The readings are a bright red and easy read. I have tested this to the ones have at gym. Sometimes my pulse is in the 40 range with product and 70's at gym. I then repeat with this product and pulse is in 70's. Pulse ox seems to be comparable. DOES NOT COME WITH BATTERY. Takes 2 aaa. It does not get a beeping warning if pulse ox level is low.

Received this product yesterday. It came attractively packaged. Included were two batteries, a lanyard, and a case. All appeared well made. The item itself is light, feels a little flimsy, not solid.Batteries went in fine - the battery area was easy to open, for which I was grateful. It worked right away, and as far as I can tell provides accurate information.It worked just fine for me and my son last night. I had my husband try it this morning, and it worked just fine for him. Then I tried it for myself again. It did not work. The device kept switching off. I tried several times on different fingers. My husband tried it again - it worked just fine for him. I tried it again - it did not work for me. My husband expressed sympathy that I was dead and clearly a zombie. =DFinally, after multiple tries over several minutes, I pressed my fingernail strongly to the top of the device while it was on my finger, and it worked! Phew!Which, I think, tells you everything you need to know about this device. It's fine. It mostly works. Sometimes it doesn't. As it's the least expensive one out there I'm not surprised at its flakiness.Just now while taking pictures for this review I tried it again. It refused to work no matter what the finger I used or what position it was in. Pressing my fingernail to the top did not work. Pity. I think I may have to return this item.

Tested it along with my fitness tracker and it pairs up my pulse rate accurately. Simple, easy to use and comes in a nice little case. Shipped quickly too which was a pleasant surprise. I am very happy with this!
