Having a problem with leakage.

This product is not recommended.
The metal slide covering the pour spout disengaged from the thumb lever on the first use of the product. Additionally the screw on lid does not firmly seat to the container so liquids leak around the seal. I removed the thumb assembly and slide completely and put a cork in the pour spout. I also put a rubber gasket around the seal between the lid and container to stop the leaks. So now it sorta works. Spend a little extra and get a better quality product.

Not really thrilled with this item
The metal part that slides open so you can pour breaks away from the plastic top too easily. Very frustrating.

Leaks around the cover to the body the metal opening cover detaches. We threw it away.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!
Save your money. Buy something of better quality. This product is terrible. For starters, the top aluminum slide plate separates from the plastic insert on the handle if you open the trigger all the way. I had to bend the aluminum tab back into the plastic handle. That was for starters. When you pour the syrup out the syrup seeps between the plastic cap and the thin threads on the plastic container. I used Teflon tape as a sealant between the top and the container ant to my surprise that was somewhat helpful. But it did not last as eventually syrup did begin to leak again! So stay away and invest in a more durable solid glass dispenser. That’s will be my next purchase👍🏻
