Sport your lucky number, birthday or special occasion date in cute and delicate fashion with this ring by Lulu Frost. From the Code collection, this piece creates a great everyday, personalized look. In a distinctive combination of antique and modern elements, Lulu Frost represents an intersection of tradition and fashion-forward thinking. 30-year old Dartmouth College graduate, Lisa Salzer, a.k.a. Lulu, creates each one-of-a-kind piece from found period antiques, including long-lost room numbers from the legendary Plaza Hotel, cut steel shoe buckles from the 1870’s, forgotten keys, beautifully crafted locks and escutcheons, chandelier crystal, watch fobs, rare Victorian charms and other resurrected finds. Lisa then reinterprets these antique objects by combining them with unexpected modern elements and stylistic treatments to achieve a completely non-traditional and fresh feel. Each piece has many a story to tell. Founded in 2004, Lulu Frost jewelry is inspired by a deep aesthetic understanding. Lisa’s experience as an art history and fine arts major helped develop this striking style. Lulu Frost is named in part for Lisa’s grandmother, Elizabeth Rock Frost, who worked in the estate fine jewelry business for over thirty years. The gorgeous Victorian, Deco and Nouveau pieces that surrounded Lisa throughout her childhood are profound influences on the style of Lulu Frost today. Lulu Frost has been featured in Vogue, W, WWD, The New York Times, T Magazine, Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, New York Magazine, the Huffington Post, Lucky, In Style, Slate, Japanese Vogue, Teen Vogue, British Vogue, Korean Vogue, French Elle, Nylon, Time Out New York, Forbes, Glamour, the NY Daily News, Daily Candy, the Chicago Tribune, NY Metro, NY Post, amongst other publications. Lulu Frost was awarded Best New Accessories Designer at Gen Art’s annual Styles 2005 Competition from over 800 international competitors. Lisa lives and works in Manhattan, where she pursues Lulu Frost with a driven passion.

Perfect for a new mom or an anniversary gift
I received one of these rings for Christmas from my mom, she gave me my daughters birth date as my number (3). These are very pretty and delicate, which is how I like my jewelry.Mine is slightly top heavy, so often times it does sit at the side of my finger when I'm cold and my fingers are slightly thinner. The band is thin and flat, yet raised (unlike my comfort fit wedding ring) so it did take a little getting used to.I really think these would make fantastic gifts for any lady (favorite number, birthday, child's birthday, anniversary, address of the place you met/got married, etc...).
