This item was not what I expected at all. It was straight forward to assemble, but the lighting was shocking. It was terrible. If you're doing product photography you don't want shadows. This created shadows no matter what angle I pointed it or the position of the light. Even the camera settings wouldn't get rid of them. I tried editing them out, it still looked awful. Product photography has never been as challenging. I sent it back and got one with led strips and it's perfect.

I would have preferred the lights to be a bit brighter. good quality for the price. perfect for someone setting up an online store selling smaller items or a fine art photographer. led lamps can be used without the box. all packs away neatly into the carry case. Mini tripod is okay, but a bit flimsy. would suit a mobile phone or small camera. I wouldn’t want to attach a slr camera to it as i feel it would just fall over.

I'm only an enthusiastic amateur photographer but I'm very impressed with this kit for the money. After attending a creative digital photography workshop in which we were taught how to use a small indoor studio for macro shots, I really wanted to get started with this aspect of photography at home. This kit is great not only for the tent box and the different coloured backgrounds, but also the two small mains powered lights with coloured gels and a mini Tripod with mobile phone holder which I didn't even know was included! OK it's not the most robust thing in the world and would not survive long in the professional world. But that's not what I needed so for me it's ideal. It's easy to set up - took me no more than a casual 15 minutes first time and everything worked. The box also doubles as its own carry case including pockets for the two lights. Excellent purchase.

You really get your money's worth with this set. The lights are great and fold away nice and small. It comes with four different colour backdrops and various colour lenses for the lights. The phone stand is a bit flimsy and definitely designer for older, smaller phones (I have a OnePlus and I struggle to get it to fit) but to be honest it's not a bit loss if I don't use it.

using this for jewellery photography and video, nice it came with diferent backgrounds, lights themselves come with 3 filters (blue and orange) so you can alter colour temperature but i only use white seem a bit cheap but it still is good value for money

The lights need to be brighter ideally, but not a bad effort for small items. You will probably have to post-process your images to obtain a white background, but I guess most people will do this anyway.Not bad overall.

Revolutionised quality of my photography for a small amount of money. The back drop colours are fun too

This is a great set. I am a beginner and this set contains everything I need to het started with taking studio quality photos at a very competitive price.
