The rain hood is peaked and in today's downpour kept my face dryIn terms of pockets there are only the 2 at the front which are zipped and have press stud flaps, keeping the contents secure and dry. However these are not large (about the size of a mobile), so if you want to carry anything larger, then maybe look elsewhere. I cannot find any other pockets, so it's just the 2 I'm afraid.
