NOT A CODED BATTERY. 5DS shuts down, won't turn after following the procedure.
I didn't know about coded batteries. Unfortunately now I do. No where is this issue mentioned on Amazon. Only in the instructions AFTER you receive the product!Using 2 USB ports on a Mophie 20K mAh Battery for a total capability of 4.8A. It's not my setup. THE PRODUCT IS NOT CODED. BUYER BEWARE.Returning the product. Pi$$ed.

Didn’t work for Canon 80D.
Did not work for my brand new Canon 80D. Kinda upset. I planned to film this weekend using my new cord. :(

Great quality and works perfectly
I was a bit skeptical when buying this at first but when I got it I realized it was worth the purchase. No problem powering my canon 6d from one USB on an apple iPad power brick. The only thing is that the USB connections are quite large and don't fit beside each other on my gopro power brick. Otherwise there are no problems and it was worth the money.

Does not work with the BMPCC 4K
I haven't been able to get it to work with the Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, but am waiting to test it on an actual Canon. Has anyone else had any experiences with the adapter and the BMPCC 4K?
