I bought this book for my 3yr old as we are going on a dig in the summer. She loves it!The explanations are straightforward, factual and not too complicated. The pictures are bright and interesting and it is well written. Each page covers a different area of archaeology including human remains, pottery, finds, stratigraphy and standing buildings.Would suit older children too as an excellent introduction.

Love this book, so does my five year old.
