Decent picture, app is not intuitive and crashes from time to time, no monthly video access fee
Update: I was not initially able to access the camera via my android smart phone unless I was connected to the same WiFi hotspot as the camera however, the next day, I tried it again and it was working. Not sure why it took a day but I had tried many times on the first day to connect using my phones data plan and it would not work. The next day, it worked perfectly without changing any settings. I raised my rating to 4 stars. I like the looks of the light and the picture is great. Now that I can access the camera when I'm away from home, I'm happy with it. I gave it 4 stars because the app and the instructions for connecting to WiFi are not very intuitive. For the price and for the fact that you don't have to pay a monthly subscription to see the recorded video like you do with the Ring camera, this is a great buy. In my opinion, it also looks a lot better than the Ring camera/light.The camera was easy to install. The installation instructions and app were obviously developed by someone who does not speak English very well so they are a little hard to follow at times. The Android app crashes from time to time and only seems to work when you are connected to the same wifi that you connected the camera to. This is the most disappointing part about this camera. I was hoping to get alerts and to be able to monitor my camera while I was away from home too. In fact, that was more important to me than being able to monitor it while I'm at home. I have sent the seller a question to see if I'm just doing something wrong but the app is fairly simple once you figure it out so I don't know what that could be. I will revise my rating if I can figure out how to get access to the camera via my phone while not connected to the same wifi (with phone).

You need one of this at your front door!
This product is amazing! If you are considering purchasing it, you are making the right decision. The app works very well on both iOS and Android (I have both and use them interchangeably). The notifications which the app sends you (when motion is detected etc) are useful and arrive quickly, the best part of which is that the notifications (on iOS at least) are animated so you get a quick preview of what the motion was. As soon as anyone approaches my front door a chime sounds and then my cellphone chimes immediately afterwards alerting me that there's someone on my porch.

Good image quality
I bought this product for my vehicles parked in my driveways, it will alert me if anyone is around my property and has a panic button for an alarm you can control to scare them away. Good quality, and one of the best features is that you can zoom in. I'm able to see people walking across the street. I will defiantly recommend this product, it gives me piece of mind knowing I can see exactly what's going on in my drive way.

Phone app does not work.
The product is just what I wanted, however, the app that controls it is broken and keeps crashing. There for, the product is useless.

Good but not great
I bought this light/camera to fill a gap in my overall camera coverage outside my house. The reasons I went with this one are - no monthly fees, no special wires, decent price, specifications, and blended in.I installed this device about a month ago and generally speaking - it does about as good as I had expected. There is an issue with the picture quality when the light turns on. There have been a couple of times where the camera starts recording before the lights kicks in - in those cases - I can see the cat that is setting it off - but once the light turns on - there is too much wash from the light to really see the cat (unless you already know where to look). They provide the light bulb - so it is not my fault if the bulb is wrong. So the good:* Camera can be moved up or down - and right or left - so you have a good amount of flexibility where to point the camera* Software allows you to turn quadrants on and off as trigger points for motion - so you can have a flag or bush in the area and avoid them setting off your camera. This is offered now by about everybody else - but at a fee* Camera seems to be pretty consistent getting triggered*Easy to install if you are the type that doesn't need instructionsCons* Setting up an account - annoying - doesn't seem to work with Hotmail - had to use another account to get them to send me the confirmation email* You have to download a video to see what is on the video. All of my other cameras allow me to see the video without downloading it first. This means I have a bunch of useless videos on my phone that I have to remember to delete and also takes time to download the entire thing* As stated above - picture quality with light on - can be a major issue* Instructions are useless. There are connectors on the device that are not even mentioned anywhere in the instructions. I can figure out what they are for - but who has instructions without explaining the different connectors. There is also no mention of being able to aim the camera - you just have to figure that one out yourself. Also instructions written in classic - English is my 4th or 5th language style.

Solid performer
Only had it for two days to date but my first impressions are positive. Construction of the light is heavy duty, solid feel. Installation was hampered by short wires but managed with some perseverence. Downloaded app from play store on android phone and was relatively easy to connect my phone to the camera. Live feed is crystal clear, very good resolution, night vision is pretty clear with color and can control light with app or set up on/off times in settings. I have Wifi speed around 50 mb/sec at the light so video runs relatively smooth. Speaker and microphone work well, slight garbled sound. You can set areas of the camera view to receive notifications when motion is detected so you don't get a notification every time a car goes down the street. One negative i have is the user manual, it was obviously written by someone unfamiliar with the English language so tough going grasping the instructions, not impossible but could be a lot easier. Records motion so you can review anytime you want without signing up for a cloud service. So far I would have to say it does everything you would expect from a security camera pretty well. I'll test it out for a while and if it continues to perform I'll buy one for the back door.
