That is to be expected considering it is a USB 2.0 Type-C cable. So having previously purchased AmazonBasics cables I was quite confident that this would be no ordinary cable. And it isn't. It is a solid, durable, flexible and well made USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-C to Type-C cable that is worth a lot more than it is priced at. Each of the connectors is made in durable quality plastics with a thoughtful extension to ensure fraying at the edges doesn't occur. Being a USB 3.1 Gen1 cable it supports a much higher data transfer rate than standard USB 2.0 Type-C cables. Admitted that I've only been using it a day or so, but I see no reason why my opinion will change any time soon.So if you're in the market for a Type-C to Type-C cable that is better than the ones that OEM's give you, then look no further than this.
