Very sturdy but limited
I don't know so many desks today don't offer keyboard drawers. Not everyone works on a laptop and even some people that do still use a stand alone keyboard. I have to use an ergonomic keyboard because of arthritis and carpal tunnel. The keyboard drawer on my current desk is small and couldn't fit my keyboard. I bought one that was a bit shorter but even then it only fit the keyboard, not a mouse. So I needed to get a clamp on drawer.I had a previous clamp on drawer that was huge. It was too big for this desk but it was great. Eventually it died so I need a new one. I got this one quickly and was surprised when I opened the box and it required complete assembly. Minus 1/2 a star for that. It is very heavy duty and sturdy. It came carefully packaged with a one sheet instruction page.Like many DIY furniture that needs to be assembled, the instructions are pretty awful. Minus a star for that. The photo wasn't clear about which way to put what part. On my first go, I screwed it together wrong so had to undo it and redo it. For the price they should hire a technical writer to write clear instructions. Once assembled I put in on my desk, and it didn't fit because of the placement of the clamps. The drawer is 26 1/2" wide and the clamps on either side are 2 3/4" wide, making the grand full length 32 inches total. Of course, I had a support bar on the right underside of my desk where my right clamp needed to go. . Not to be defeated, I had a plan B. I have been wanting to get a new desk anyway so found one this weekend and set it up. I was afraid for a minute because my new desktop is much thicker (2 inches) than the old. Luckily - The tray fits perfectly -Success! Add 1/2 star for that.I'm not a fan of the thickness of the clamps, they are a bit intrusive and lumpy. It is a bit hard to pull the drawer out but that's a plus because it won't slide in like my old desk keyboard drawer did. It should last a long while. Just take your time putting it together and you should have no problems with it.

Well Made and Useful
The Alloyseed Under Desk Keyboard Tray is very well made. The first thing you will notice when you open the package is how strong and sturdy the tray is, and how all of the parts are well constructed. When I mounted the rails to the tray, I felt they were slightly crooked. They angled in, and the sliders were so smooth, I wondered how the tray would ever stay still while typing on a keyboard. As it turns out, when you tighten it to your desk, those slight angels level out, causing tension on the slider. As another reviewer pointed out, this tension makes it difficult to slide smoothly. I think the company did this because once you pull the tray out a certain distance and leave it there, it does not move when a keyboard and mouse are on it and you are typing away on the keyboard. In order to accommodate a keyboard and mouse, the tray is long. Everything worked as described, but it did not work on my desk. My desk has an odd curvature for it, and the tray just did not workout. However, it works perfectly at the office, which is where it will end up.Overall, this is a well-built keyboard tray, and I highly recommend it.

Well-Designed And VERY Ergonomic
After reading the negative posts and all the complaints about this product, I have to vehemently disagree -- well at least on some of the issues. I promise I'm not a shill. LOLFirst, let's talk build quality: top notch. Everything, from the clamps to the rails, to the keyboard base... absolutely sturdy and well constructed. The clamps are beefy and powder coated to perfection. Everything looks pristine and oozes of quality. They're well packaged in high density foam. All the hardware are included; there were no missing pieces. All the holes line up. The fit and finish is EXCELLENT.A hex wrench is included, but you WILL need a Philips screwdriver. The assembly instructions are pictorial only and a bit sparse for the average non-mechanically inclined person. To compensate, you'll need some mechanical aptitude, patience, intelligence, and common sense. The assembly and full installation should take about 15 minutes to 1/2 hour.I have an L-shaped desk with a built-in keyboard drawer. This Alloyseed Under Desk Keyboard Tray is the SAME height as the one built-in. PERFECT. I don't find it too low at all.One caveat is IT IS *** WIDE ***. It is 33 inches end to end -- illuminati confirmed! I kid, I kid!Another thing you should be aware of is that although the tray slides SMOOTHLY, it does have some resistance built in, but this in my opinion is a good thing as it helps to mitigate the tray being pushed back while you're typing.---I love this keyboard tray. It is beautifully made, extremely sturdy, functional, and the fit and finish is EXCELLENT == 5 stars.
