From dissapointed to elated
So disappointed. In the midst of setting up the watch, two buttons fell off. It’s not as simple as pushing or screwing them back in because they fall out again. I would have to use some type of glue. The other two buttons appear sturdy. Makes me wonder about anything else that’s wrong with this specific watch. I’m returning and will order another one for my son.***Update 20180520***I received an email from the seller shortly after the review. I have to say they have EXCELLENT customer service and will resolve my issue. I believe in this product without having used it before, especially since it’s listed as an assistive technology under the Department of Defense Computer/Electronic Accommodations Program (CAP). I was looking for devices for my own needs on the cap.mil site and stumbled upon this great idea to help my son who has PDD-NOS and ADHD. Will update once I receive a new device and my son has used it for a short duration.***Update 20180525***My son wore his watch to school for the first time today and told me he loves it.Pros:-The instruction book is easy to follow since it offers step-by-step instructions with pictures.- I love that the instructions list of all the preset messages already in the watch to help with configuration.-The watch itself is not bulky and it’s waterproof so that’s a plus.-The Watch has two modes, training and reminder. In training mode, you can select a predefined message or create your own message to be displayed at set intervals throughout the day. For example, I used the predefined message “Pay Attn” to display on the watch every 30 mins. I may adjust the interval if it is too frequent based on input from my son’s teacher. I don’t want it to be a distraction. The intervals are 1,2,3,5,10,15,20,30,60 minutes. In reminder mode, I already set messages for the below but the possibilities are endless. I intend to add a reminder to drink water throughout the day because he’s very active in school and with sports and I don’t want him dehydrated. -“PRAY”: my son knows to start his morning routine so we can go to church in an hour. -“BED TIME”: explained below -“Hi Dev”: my personalized message while he’s at school-Vibration alert is a cool feature that can be turned on off to accompany the message. I don’t see why you would want to turn it off since you’re not constantly looking at the watch and you may miss a notification.-Great flexibility in selecting the day or days you want the message to be displayed. You can select individual days (e.g. 1=Monday), multiple days (e.g 2,4,6), or the entire week (e.g. 8).Cons:-A 24 hour clock is used when setting the watch; however, the display will be in a regular 12 hour clock. As a veteran, I’m fine with using 1500 vice 3:00, but this might not be easy for some. The vendor should include a time conversion chart in the instructions.-You can’t edit your training mode message, you have to delete it and start over. For example, you can’t simply adjust the time, you can only review your message or delete it.-Any message created in training mode will appear everyday. The “PAY ATTN” message that I want to only occur while he’s school M-F pops up everyday. When configuring messages in training mode, the only option you have is choosing the message itself, the timeframe you want the message to occur (e.g., 9-5 pm) and the interval for often the message occurs. The work around is creating a message in reminder mode where you can set the day(s) of the week.-You can only select one self help message to display at a fixed interval throughout the day in training mode. To get around this, you can use the reminder mode.-You are limited to 30 messages per day in reminder mode. To get around this, I have a single message of “BED TIME” set for 7:00 pm S-Thurs. Instead of including everything I need my son to do at bedtime (e.g. shower, brush his teeth, floss, take vitamins, etc) on his watch, I created a chart with a morning and night routine and hung it in his bathroom. There is another function called repeating countdown timer, which I haven’t had the need to use just yet.Bottom line, I’m very pleased with the watch and how it will allow my son to be more independent at home and I’m hoping it will help with attention/focus at school. I might even purchase one for myself as a reminder to take meds, eat, drink water and get up and walk around at work because I have a bad habit of sitting behind my computer all day and letting the day get by me.

I like it
So far so good, its only been two days but my son said that the "pay attention" reminders helped him stay focused in class. I will say that the set up is a bit annoying. It would be great if it was programmable through the computer so that if you needed to get a specific message to your child urgently you could send it there. But that's just an idea. Good concept and product though!

piece of junk but customer service helpful
Updated 10 months after purchase. Watch died and was replaced a month after purchase.Second watched died after 9 months and it wasn’t even used during summer. Piece of junk. Do not buy. Go buy ReBand instead.Watch looks nice and does what it says, I use it for my 8 year son who has a hard time paying attention is class. It’s a little hard figuring it out, but I just needed 1 reminder in training mode set up for school hours. The set up is in 24 hour mode and the clock is 12 hour mode which makes set up confusing. The battery lasts a month or so with that usage. But we thought it had died completely but it needed to be put on the charger and the 3 buttons pushed at once and it came back on which is in the online PDF instructions for the watch. our first watch stopped working and I emailed the company and they replaced it quickly. I think if I really was going to do this again, I’d buy the Revibe instead

Great minute reminder watch
This watch is super easy to use and does 1 minute reminder vibrations with a short 2 second vibrate. The charger is horrible. If charger wasn't so fickle to get watch placed exactly perfect with tint contact would rate 5 stars.

Failure of a product
Watch worked great initially and even though the programming was a pain it helped out my Autistic son out very well. That is until they did swimming in school and he came back with his watch in this condition.Clearly the watch is not waterproof and it is false advertising honestly. For the cost of this watch it should be made to handle what the company claims. It doesn't sadly. Now I understand why they are giving discounts on it. It's a faulty product. They know it. And as a result it is just a cash grab item. It didn't even last a month.

It’s good when it’s charged. Charger is crap.
I’ve had three of these watches. The watches themselves do their job well enough. I’ve only had a strap break once. However, I’ve had a charger-contact button fall out of a watch and had MANY of the charger cradles stop working. Their charger system is a nightmare. They just don’t work for very long and should be considered a recurring cost of owning this watch.I love it when it works, but HATE that I can’t rely on it because I never know when the charging system will go out.
