EcoverStain Remover, 6.8 Ounce

I have tried lots of stain removers and I am very particular and check them out closely. This one is one of my top two. It really gets any grease or oil out no problem and has gotten out stains I did not think could be gotten out.

I truly love this product. I have been using it for many years -- I think I bought my first tube when my son was born, and he is now 11, to put things in perspective.I love the product because it really works. It is very rare for us to come across a stain that it cannot remove.I am aware that some people are skeptical of the product's "green" credentials -- there are plenty of reviews that point out that some of the ingredients are problematic, both in your home and in the broader environment. As of when I'm writing this, there is a great (and very well-balanced) review by a user named redrose that I encourage you to go read.Here's the thing: when you have kids, their clothes will get stained. And if it were easy to remove stains using all-natural ingredients then there would be better eco-friendly stain removers out there. I agree so much with the following statement from redrose's review that I will just quote it here:"This stuff works, and I know the company consistantly makes an effort to create greener products, and lobby against the greenwashing that is going on in a lot of mainstream companies."I will just add that, if you're not going to dress your kids in stained clothes, then you need to also factor in the environmental cost of manufacturing more clothes instead of using the ones you've already got. We don't use this product often -- it takes me more than a year to get through one of these tubes -- but I can say that it has rescued a lot of clothes that would otherwise end up in the trash. In my view that's not just a laundry win, that's an eco win as well.

This is the best stain remover so far. It’s not magical and some stains still there but it does a lot more that other brands I’ve tried

Ecover works better than any stain remover I've ever tried. Most stain removers work on 'some' stains or 'some' fabrics.Ecover works on everything.

Not terribly effective on tomato or curry stains compared to Puracy, but safe for non-colorfast fabrics. Great on greasy stains on most fabrics, especially if also sprayed with white vinegar. Need to reduce the amount of laundry soap you use if you use a lot of it. I've been using this product for a long time, and it's become a staple in my anti-stain arsenal.

I let it do its magic for 20mins before tossing the garment in the washing machine. It’s quite amazing how many different stains it takes out while being non-toxic.

Love this naturally derived stain remover. Have been using for years. Gets my stains out and I always enjoyed the fragrance which is stated in the ingredients as “parfum: linalool”. From what I understand, linalool is a naturally derived ingredient from essentialoils. To me it had a lovely light lavender and rosewood scent. I just re ordered and this bottle does not have a fragrance. Packaging looks similar with slight wording difference but some ingredients have changed. Still love the product and I usually go for fragrance free anyway. Worth pointing out to others who liked or disliked the scent from previous bottles. Not sure if this is an update/revision to the product or if I received a different version. Newest bottle received March 2021 is on the right.

Out of the natural stain removers, this works the best -- and even better than most regular stain treatments, too! As an example, this removed a chocolate stain on a bra, which had stayed through several permanent press wash cycles, simply while applying the Ecover stain remover with its brush applicator! Also, my dog had an infection on his abdomen that was draining blood-stained fluids onto the waterproof bed protector; this had dried so I thought these would be impossible to remove -- but Ecover almost removed these stains during pre-treatment (see picture of before & after pre-treatment; after washing in cold water, I couldn't find the stain at all). Finally, I had several stains of indeterminate age on my nice bamboo bath sheets; these had been washed & dried so removal seemed hopeless, but after pre-treatment and laundering -- there were no more stains! Truly amazing!! Ecover worked far better than Puracy and Charlie's Laundry Soap Stain Remover, so this is the only one worth repurchasing. And it works better than any of the stain removers I had tried before switching more natural products. Highly recommended!!

This product is amazing. I loved it so much I purchased a few more for friends/family.Just a slight squeeze for the gel to come out, massage with the silicone brush it’s topped with, and throw in the wash with other laundry. I like to wait 5 mins before starting the wash (probably out of old habit with other stain removers).It has worked effectively on bicycle grease, armpit sweat, makeup, and other food stains. I haven’t tried on silk but I’m confident it’s gentle enough.The scent is light linen and a little goes a long way.

This is an awesome product and eco-friendly! Best stain remover I have ever used. The product arrived with some leakage but other than that we love it!

I wore it on my sneakers and I think it improved the stains a lot, already in a cotton blouse I didn't see much effect.
