Titan Locks Kronos Touchscreen Smart Lock Deadbolt with Smart Phone Key Less Entry Access (Silver)

I absolutely love my new titan lock. The lock was very easy to install, and very user friendly. I got the lock because my children kept leaving the front door open when they would leave for school. One day while I was work my neighbor actually called and said my front door was wide open. I guess the kids might have slammed the door while rushing out and the door swung open.The auto lock has remedied this problem and is the best feature. Also, I no longer need keys because I can use the phone app or a entry code that I have generated. For servicemen and house cleaners that require entry into the home, you can provide a temporary entry code. The lock operates using Bluetooth and I understand that a wifi extender can be purchased. The phone app also keeps a record of entries. This lock is highly recommended.

The installation instructions weren’t great, but I had to hire someone anyways so it wasn’t my problem to deal with. It also came missing a small spring to hold one of the batteries in place, but the service technician went ahead and McGuyver’d it to work with a piece of metal. Haven’t had any problems, and it’s incredibly convenient.**UPDATE**This lock hardly works and has left me locked out many times. Don’t waste your money.**ANOTHER UPDATE**This was sent without a spring in one of the battery slots (picture included) which causes it at random to stop working. The person who installed it used a copper piece as a replacement, which moves and has not only caused lock outs but also caused the lock to NOT LOCK. Very unreliable. I have reached out to the manufacturer twice now. I can't get the gateway to set up which really removes any convenience when paired with the fact that it only works at random and I need to use my key anyways. The manufacturer should really have a notification on the app to let you know if it's locked or not.**UPDATE 3**Yet again it stopped working so I tried the key provided and it doesn’t turn. They gave me the wrong key.

I like the idea of sending pass codes or even ekeys to family members who need to go in. Also, setting time limits for them. The only issue, sometimes I have to press the unlock key multiple times before it unlocks.

I've been using this lock for two months now and it's worked great for creating temporary codes for my AirBnB guests. However, following a recent Android update, the associated app (TTLock) keeps crashing and I can no longer modify any codes. Will there be a fix??

It would make grinding noises but not unlock, occasionally, then every time. We tried to figure out why, and took it apart and reassembled and widened the hole for the bolt and etc until we broke a small screw that was for adjusting the lock (newer models don't include it). I asked for a new screw, or for the specs so I could get a new one, and help figuring out why it stopped working. Customer support eventually provided me with the wrong specs, said we were out of warranty (we'd waited a month to install it) and that we'd voided the warranty by messing with it, but we could have another one at 20% off, and could ship back the old one and they've give money back if it was a factory defect.I did get another one, despite misgivings, because we'd cut the hole to this template and because I felt I should have called them right away when it started having problems. But the second lock didn't work at all, with the same problem: grinding noises when it was supposed to unlock. Customer service said they'd never heard of this problem before (?!), but to their credit, sent me a new one (and a label to return the defective one). Third lock worked.I never heard back about the first defective one.Review practices: I saw a negative review while I was waiting for the second lock, complaining about the same problem. It disappeared. And they offer rebates for 5 star reviews. I probably would have given it 5 stars that first week, but felt it would be better to give it more time, and I'm glad I did.

This product came nicely packed and protected in the box. Installation was quite easy with the included instructions. The app was easy to set up and was up and running within 5 minutes of installing the lock. The lock easily interacts with the app for easy locking and unlocking. It has not had any hiccups or trouble since installing it 3 months ago. It has made getting in and out of the house even more easy and secure. I would recommend this lock to anyone trying to safely secure their home as well as allow others like family in town temporary access to the home without having to provides keys or be home at all times.

This lock worked great for six months. Now, it has stopped working. The motor just continuously turns and won’t unlock!
