Used for cutting plastic scale model parts from the frames that they were moulded on. Excellent results for this purpose. Precision point of cutters ideal for any limited access. Residual plastic was minimal and easily sanded smooth. Better than the nail clippers that I had been using, very good value and quality for the price.

I was initially skeptical, given their rather unassuming appearance, but these snips genuinely excel for quick DIY and tech fixes. From rewiring my daughter's old guitar to trimming bits for my model railway set, they've proven versatile and reliable. Admittedly, the grip could be more comfortable, especially during longer sessions; my fingers felt a bit sore after extended use. I did notice that they struggle with anything thicker than 1mm, so it's best to keep them for lighter tasks. On the plus side, they offer a precise cut and haven't dulled despite frequent use. Just be cautious— one of the blades snapped while cutting a tough wire, so definitely heed the advice about wearing safety goggles. Overall, for such an affordable price, they do the job splendidly and are a solid addition to any toolkit.

Great little snips. Good quality. I had a pair for a few years but lost them. So had to get another pair as they are so handy to have in the tool box. They are great for cutting small cables , tie wraps etc, without having to use bigger pliers or a knife.

I actually use these as spruce cutters for model making. The blades are really sharp and will flush cut perfectly. This is my second pair, the first pair is semi-retired after many years of service, but after much abuse they are looking a bit gnarly and thought I would treat myself as they are so inexpensive.

I bought this for cutting minitures out of frames for war hammer and DND etc... and it has just exceeded my expectations. Super sharp and doesn't snap shut but more glides through to make perfect cut exactly where you want it. I do love the off center design makes for planning a cut way easier and precise, I rarely use my Stanley blade now to clean up my cuts, this reduces time and work by so much!
