Not overly impressed
Not as good as expected. If you are an instant pot user be careful. I personally think there are better places to get information, such as YouTube and Pinterest.

Perfect book for Pressure Cooker newbies
I recently purchased a pressure cooker for the first time and was looking for a book with easy-to-follow recipes. This book was perfect. To date, I have cooked the Indian Butter Chicken and Greek Lemon Rice. Both were delicious. Also, I appreciate that the author gives directions for both electric (which I have) and stovetop pressure cookers.

Pressure cookers for dummies
I had seen one from the library and it had all the notes about the new electric pressure cooker and this one didn't have it so was disappointed in it. It had the same cover as the one from the library so thought it would be the same but I will make it work somehow.

Not that useful
Very repetitive and not really that useful too "American" in its language especially when talking of the cuts of meat used I felt as though I needed translator to work out what cut I needed . The information I really wanted i.e. which pressure setting to use for certain types of food was missing from all the appendix tables cooking times were there but no guide to weight or if adjustment was needed. Just when I thought I'd found what I was looking for I was referred two or three chapters back to bit I'd already read and found lacking the information I'd been seeking. The recipes themselves were not very inspiring or helpful either. Again maybe it was just the continual need to flick to the appendixes to translate the amounts required and even then there was no metric equivalent given for dry items only the liquids.Overall not impressed with this book at all.

Good explanation of how they work
The explanation about how pressure cookers work etc is great, however, the recipes are American and have odd ingredients and different measurements ie quarts, cups etc

Pressure cooker myths exploded
The book for the pressure cooker novice, all you could ever need to know - especially if you have a fear of them exploding.

Hard to give a cook book FIVE stars, but
Good value for a book PACKED with excellent information on the subject of cooking with pressure devices, set out in a pleasing artistic way, using easy to read fonts, and answering every question. I am going to spend a lot of time reading and re-reading this valuable volume as I learn to present old standbys via a new avenue. Glad to see many old favourites included in the recipe section.
