This set is a good theft deterrent if you own an RV trailer. They are easy to use. The locking mechanism is a solid build. It's just like having a boot on a vehicle wheel. One word of caution: pay attention to your wheel/tire width. The product description mentions it fits wheels that are 11 inches wide or less. That is accurate. Make sure to measure the width of the wheel(s) you want to put these on. They fit fine on my trailer wheels but they do not fit on my tow vehicle wheels. If you plan on using these on a car (for whatever reason), make sure the wheel is small enough to work with these.

A determined thief will get through anything to take your trailer. But these locks are good quality, inexpensive, easy to install and will discourage opportunistic thieves. I also use an expensive Amp lock on the hitch, that seems impossible to break into. But note again my first cautionary sentence. Just make your trailer really hard to steal and hopefully the thief will look elsewhere for easier prey.

If you want a lock that does the job of securing your vehicle or trailer then look no further. This is it. The usability of this product is easy and does the job. It not only secures your vehicle or trailer but it also is a great deterrent. I lock my trailer up and am not afraid to leave it unhooked up to my truck. As people pass my trailer they can see that it is secure and they will move on to a different trailer if they have bad intentions. Over all great product. Easy to use and fits very easy.

Purchased this to secure a trailer which is stored at an unsecured location. This works well and does what is needed. The trailer is still there so it must work. ;-). My only dislike is the location of the lock. It is an awkward location to remove from the trailer.

We got a set of boots and had to use it only once. Very bright and noticeable for anyone walking up to it. Easy to install and remove. We used it in our employee parking lot for some cars that parked in a no parking zone. Never had to use it again as word spread quickly that we will add boots to unauthorized parked cars.

Feels very sturdy and locks onto my trailer wheel no problem. Definitely easy to notice with the bright yellow and red and works nicely to deter someone from trying to steal my trailer.

We use this Boot Lock on both our 17 feet. Flat bed trailer or Coleman Tent Trailer when they must sit out in the front driveway. It is easy to install and makes us confident that these vehicles will be safe.

The locks work great, and they are very noticeable on my trailer. They are easy to install and remove.The only gripe that I had with this purchase is that the 2 locks do NOT have matching keys. Yes, the keys are small and don't take much room on my key chain, but it would be much more convenient to have matching keys for the 2 locks since I use both locks on the same teardrop trailer, and I almost always try the wrong key first. I marked 1 key and 1 lock to help identify them, but there are times when we are setting up or tearing down when it's dark, and I can't always see the markings.Recommendation to the seller: Put together matching keyed sets in your 2-packs!-1 star for each lock/key
