Mantel Clock for Fireplace, Solid Wood Silent Non-Chiming Mantle Clock

I have been needing a mantel clock for a few weeks. The clock had been using was really not working out, and then stopped working, so I decided to shop. I have a large picture over the mantel, so had to find something that would work with that. This one is maybe an inch too tall, but does work, and looks nice, I am happy with my choice.

I like the look of a mantle clock, but I don't want to have to have to spend time always winding it up, so I like a battery clock, and a clock face with roman numerals, so this is perfect for me. It only takes one AA battery. The delivery was fast after I ordered it. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Love this clock. The face is fairly large so it's easy to see from across the room. The color gives it a rich, deep appearance, and the curves add elegance. It's lightweight, maintains perfect accuracy, and there are no issues at all with it keeping time. The second hand constantly sweeps, so it's silent (no ticking).

It is a very nice, well made clock for the price point. It looks like the original antique clocks that are hard to find anymore. Very pleased.

If you're looking for an inexpensive mantel clock, this will fit the bill quite nicely. It's a quartz movement, so it will keep accurate time without needing to be wound, and it's silent (the clock is in a room where I often work from home, plus simulated chimes from quartz clocks don't sound as nice as the real thing). A couple of nitpicks, though: * The glass picks up glare from my floor lamp, which affects the readability of the clock when the lamp is turned on. * The battery cover broke when I was putting it back on the first time after setting the clock. I was hoping the cover would be made of more durable plastic. It's fortunately easy to hide, but that means the cover can be easily lost (and I'm glad I live alone and don't have young children to worry about). Overall, it's a good clock for the budget-conscious. Just be careful with the battery cover and keep the room lighting in mind.

This clock is perfect as a replacement for a mantel clock that permanently died on us. We needed a large face so we could read the time from a distance. The sweeping second hand was a surprise but nice to have as well. The clock is well made and looks great on our mantel.

It is as advertised and does does what it's supposed to - tell time. Quietly. The face is quite large which makes it very easy to read from across the room. The packaging was fine, delivery on the promised date. No complaints.

This is as stunning as I hoped it would be. A really beautiful white clock.
