I purchased this battery in April 2019 and found it to be just as good as the original. The battery did stop working in July 2020 however when I reported this to the seller they were very quick to send a replacement without the need to return the original battery. The new battery is working fine so far.

So I bought the expensive product as I needed it next day, laptop is important to me, also I hoped the quality would be better than some. But I was in for a disappointment on that front, the plastic is badly formed with a bow to the edge where it fits to the laptop. Had to apply WAY TOO MUCH force to get it to slot in, and it only just made it, and still bends out, but hey I need the laptop, Maybe you should buy a better one and wait a day or two. That is my Advice.

Only had it for a few days, but is retaining it's charge well. Seems identical to hp original, also from China.

very quick delivery from this company- however, compared to previous similar ones i bought from other Amazon providers- over past 7-8 years, this one last week took ages just getting a few percent to to 100% charged- disappointed- the HP battery tester on HP laptop states 'primary battery faulty-replace' and i have only had this since late 2019- can't be bothered though with all the aggro of returning this - it's only about £25 anyway and i think i've found a good company for my next HS04 one. its not my laptop itself thats faulty as it works great without the battery in- just got a faulty one- your others are probably ok- these things happen
