Even though baby fingernails are tiny, they can still be sharp. Our FINELY CRAFTED MITTENS keep baby's hands covered and protect delicate skin from getting scratched. We have found the SOFTEST fastener that is laser cut to ensure there is no sharp edges. This unique strap that goes around the wrist is unlike any other product on the market to help ensure your baby does not slip their mittens off in the middle of the night and wake up with scratches on their delicate face.

Was disappointing at first, but the seller really came through for me.
My wife and I were so excited for these mittens. Our little 5 month old has been gashing his head quite badly no matter how often we cut and or file his nails. We found these and we were confident they would help. Well, turns out these are not really effective for our child. First, these aren't really adjustable because the Velcro patches are so small, you can't really secure them very well at all. Our little guy had pulled them off before we got him to bed. Then after two nights, two of the little loops on the gloves that hold the band in place broke off. This product is a great idea, but this design and implementation by the manufacturer is a total disappointment.EDIT: MY original review was totally accurate. A few HOURS after my review, I was contacted by the company asking if they could send me some new mittens and that the ones I received were defective. The new ones they sent me were 100% better than the first pair. The Velcro patches were bigger and softer than the first pair, so we were able to put them on and make them a little tighter than the first ones we received. Baby went down for the night and woke up with them still on. I have to say the customer service team for this product is outstanding. They contacted me quickly, they send me not one but TWO pairs of mittens, and they informed me that they were quickly removing the defective pairs from Amazon. Fantastic company, fantastic product.

The Only Baby Mittens Worth Buying!
So probably like most first time parents, we loaded up on those adorable little elastic mittens sold here on Amazon and even in all the main baby stores. Literally hours after our baby was born we realized in the hospital none of those mittens would work because they do not stay on! So then we started using socks. And then the socks were getting tight so I started looking up mittens again and came across these!I think I didn't buy them the first time because of the price, but they are so worth it. The wrap around Velcro is perfect for babes because they can tell get them off!Extra perk is the fabric (cotton) is very light so if baby is in summertime I wouldn't worry about the hands getting too warm. There's also plenty of room within the mitten for baby to move around fingers. If I could do it over again I would buy only these mittens because they are the only ones worth buying.Highly recommend!

A must have to protect your little ones hands from scratching themselves & to keep strangers from touching their little hands
These have been god sent for my little one who likes to rip his face apart when he gets hungry and to keep strangers from touching his little hands while out and about. They definitely stay on ALWAYS... I've never had them fall off not once. They are a nice soft cotton material and the grey in my opinion mesh nicely with all his little outfits. Love them so much he has 2 of the same grey pair! So get at least 2 pairs because trust me....you'll need it!

Great purchase!
These scratch mittens are great! I purchased two pairs of these, and I am purchasing two more pairs for a friend's baby.We trim and file our two-month-old's nails, but he still manages to scratch himself and others. We had small elastic scratch mittens that you can find in any baby store. We were frustrated that they did not stay on, and we would find them all over the house. Our 2-month-old baby was unable open his hands as the mittens kept his hands in fists. These mittens by First Wonders stay on because there is a band that wraps around his wrist and secure with soft velcro. They large enough for him to open his hands and stretch out his fingers. They protect him (and anyone who holds him) when he sleeps (and nurses). We are also using them to deter him from putting his hands in his mouth when he is sick. Wash these in a lingerie bag to keep the velcro from sticking to other items in the laundry.

Velcro Placement Backwards
These mittens are really nice. I like the look and color. The fabric is soft and comfortable for my baby. They are "adjustable" so I'm able to fit them to not slide off his hands. The only issue I have with these is that the "scratchy" part of the velcro is on the actual strap. So, because my son has smaller wrists and I need to tighten the straps, the scratchy part is exposed and if he's flailing his little arms about, that horrible scratchy velcro scratches his skin. Or it gets caught on other items like his clothes or the blanket, and then it pulls the straps off the glove and they fall off.The soft part of the velcro should be on the strap instead of the wrist. That would completely eliminate these two problems.

I have a 2 month old who suffers with eczema and these mittens work perfect. I've tried several other pairs that won't stay on and these stay on through the night. They are very soft and the velcro is perfect. I will be buying a second pair.

Cheap velcro, cheap mittens.
These mittens are so disappointing. I wish I could give zero stars. My 3month has bad eczema on his cheeks so I went looking for no scratch mittens. I bought a few different brands these included. I was looking specifically for something that would be good at night time because he has a tendency to work the mittens off. I was excited at first because of the velcro strap but they are the WORST. Cheap no stick velcro. I used them last night and the velcro strap ends that didn't stick scratched up his cheek. There was blood all over the mitten because the end of the velcro scratched up his face. I was/am so so upset. I can't believe I bought these. Do yourself a favor, stay away from these mittens!! They are so cheaply made and the velcro is terrible. I am so upset at myself for letting my baby near these. His face is so red and scratched up, I am so angry and upset about the stupid mittens.

Really nice!
Bought different brands of mittens and this is by far the best. They are easy to put on , are soft and stay on. I do not have any problems with the velcro- it isn't your typical velcro but more like a tape type and there are no sharp edges to speak of so even if you have a baby who loves rubbing his/her face (like mine!) they are not likely to be scratched by it. WIsh the price was lower though. Just ordered another pair!
