This is more or less the exact same case as the much more popular tomtoc case, down to the interior cutouts being d-pad shaped instead of buttons. The key difference is that the exterior of the case is completely flat and minimal, as opposed to having visible bumps for where the interior cutouts for the joysticks and buttons are, which I find to look silly.This offers great protection at an affordable price and allows you to carry a bunch of extra games. The case is snug, my Switch feels safe, and it looks great as well in my opinion. I don't see why you would get the tomtoc over this case unless you want your case to scream "THIS IS A SWITCH". Do be aware there is a minor chemically smell. I think it's quite faint.

Just received my order today on regular shipping in 2 days (3 days ahead of schedule, thank you USPS and Amazon).Overall impression of the case is that it's minimal, feels great in hand, and as advertised. I was weary of getting a case like this at first considering how there may be issues with the fit/mold shaped around the buttons and joysticks. This is not an issue with this case and on the flip side, if you close it and you flip it upside down (cover facing down), you can feel the switch shift a bit, meaning there's a bit of slack on the front of the screen. Some people may consider it a bad thing, I'd say that's a feature and not a bug to have a bit of space. Zippers are a bit rigid, but they are legitimate YKK zippers. It feels great in hand, and I'm not getting a slippery feel to it. The molds on the inside are padded enough where I can feel confident God forbid the case leaves my hand. The rear/bottom of the case feels much sturdier, which is a given considering there is a thicker layer on the bottom to compensate for the contour of the rear of the device. I'm not a huge fan of the little flap that olds additional game cartridges (though at the moment I only have 1 physical game cartridge, so my opinion might change on it), however, it does act as a buffer if your case faceplants screen-facing-down on the floor since it does have a bit of plush in it.Here's something that almost made me lose it and return the product, but hear me out first. I consider this a 'caveat' but it's not really an issue to be honest. BUT. When I leave the case lying flat open, and place the switch in there, I can hear and see the L and R buttons being compressed at the far edges. If the case was closed and zipped up and this was happening, this is grounds for returning the product. HOWEVER, once you start to close the top cover of the case, the buttons become decompressed. By having the cover open, you stretch the outer fabric a bit, and that CAUSES the compression. Once you start to close the cover, it relaxes the outer material, and it no longer causes the inner mold to press against the button.Bottom line/TLDR: Great product, definitely worth the money. I've tried some of the more other case products in hand and they don't feel as confident as this case does, which was why I returned it/didn't buy them. What I thought was a problem turned out to not be a problem at all. Definitely would recommend this for anyone looking for a slim/minimal case for your Switch and don't need a pocket to carry spare joycons, accessories, etc.

I purchased the gray "plus" case which included a large pocket to store additional things, in my case it was a charger for the switch, a pair of wrist straps, and the comfort grip with an additional set of joycons loaded in them. Everything I could expect to need on the go. The games are a little hard to slide in and out sometimes but not enough to ding the case. I guess it's nice knowing they won't slip out accidentally. There is a strap that goes under the Switch itself that you can use to eject it since it fits so snugly into the case and I appreciated that little detail.The seller started emailing me really soon after I completed my purchase to get me to post a review and I wasn't ready yet because I had barely used the device. This was a little annoying. They would do well to wait a few more days before the spam starts.

My only complaint: No room to fit a power brick or battery pack, but I won't ding it a star because that wasn't the point to begin with! My three most important features were having a moderately hard shell, slim size, and didn't scream "I have a Nintendo Switch inside!" like most of the other hardshell cases do. If that's also what you're looking for, you'll probably be happy with this, especially at the cheap thirteen dollar price point. Already dropped this thing once and my unit suffered no damages. Interesting note, there were some complaints in older reviews about foul odors of industrial chemicals with this case. My sense of smell is incredible, and I'm not getting that at all with my grey case. It has an unusual and very faint smell of dill pickle, but nothing noxious as others described. YMMV. Good case so far. Excellent price. Very happy with my purchase.

Nous avons pu y mettre la console avec le chargeur, les jeux, le câble HDMI, deux manettes supplémentaires et leur petit chargeur. Seul le boîtier plastique pour poser la console ne rentre pas dedans, ou alors, on ne peut pas mettre le chargeur et les manettes. L'étui nous a suivi pendant les vacances et nous sommes satisfaits du produit.
